When was the last time you desired someone?

I don't just mean sexually here as that's an everyday thing if you've got a dick attached to the rest of ya.

I'm talking someone who you saw in passing and you just wanted them in every way, not just under/on top of you but beside you as a permanent fixture in your life?

We're talking blinding clarity where you see the person and you immediately know they fit: In your bed, in your arms, in your LIFE.

Sort of like love at first sight but not really.

Oh, and the final ingredient?

It was an unrequited experience. Well, unrequited because the situation you found this person in wouldn't permit you to get in front of them to know whether they could possibly return your feelings.

I ask because golly things have changed. It's like these days guys and girls depend on work, friends and other social circles to meet people.

Outside of that defenses are UP. And it's not just relationship-wise either.

Meanwhile, on the commute to work, waiting on the opposite side of your platform at the station, in a passing BUS is someone who is more meant for you than the dude or girl you met through a mutual friend/at a friend's party/in the office!

You know how you get topics on here where the girl seems unsure despite being excited about the attention or the guy asks for tips on how to play it cool and win her over?

We're not dealing with that.

Because the attraction I'm talking about is the kind that gives you legs.

You immediately KNOW they're meant for you and how you??ll win them over.

The situation you are in just doesn't make it possible.

That last line seems to contradict the WHOLE post.

But it doesn't you know. It's accurate.

How many ladies on here would shirk convention and go after a man they think is theirs?

And dudes, how the fuck would you go about tracing a chick you saw on a passing bus while you were walking on the street?

How many chicks on here wouldn't be a bit freaked out if the guy they noticed on an opposite platform suddenly appeared beside 'em?

My Gem BFF has inspired me with the LOVE connections. She is with a scorp, and things are just SO easy with them two. They never fight. They never played games. They dont make each other jealous.... they just ARE together cuz its meant to be.

Good point. "Winning" is the wrong word to use. I used it because I still can't get over the fact how complicated things like "love" and that have gotten.

It's no longer "A" and "B" like each other, it's now "A" must have thisandthisandthisandthisandthis for "B" to like him/her and vice versa.

But I do mean what your Bff and her dude have, though. Lucky bastards.

Haven't quite sealed the deal yet due to a few unforeseen roadblocks but plodding away.

I knew straight away though..then found out he was too young so called it all off, trouble was he knew straight away too so it was too late to get away!
