Hey cappy moons. Just curious if anyone else finds themselves being unfairly somewhat judgemental in their thoughts of others. I've caught myself looking at someone's clothes, for example, and thinking something like 'what an ugly color' or 'those shoes don't go with that outfit'.

Well, I'm trying to stop those mean thoughts. Any suggestions on how?

I'm trying to stop it mid-thought and find something positive. Like 'that print looks - Oh! She has a cute haircut!'

I instantly feel more positive and upbeat when I do this and I like it.

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas?

We're all judgemental, it's human nature. The bigger question is how you treat that person once you have made a judgement about them. Does the person diminish in value to you if their clothes aren't a certain way, or if they are not attractive as you prefer? If so that's more disconcerting.

No. Makes no difference. I treat them the same.

With that said as a fellow earth moon I would say if makes you feel better to be less critical of others, the first step is to suspend judgement. When you find yourself having negative thoughts about others take a step back and think about how you would feel if you were judged by just your cover. Developing this level of empathy towards others may help you decrease those negative thoughts.

Duh! I just said I stop the negative thought and turn it positive, as in a complement in my head instead of a criticism.

But I do understand what you're saying.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be flippant. I did ask for suggestions, didn't I? Thanks. It's a good one.
I realize that its not fair to judge others when my shoes probably look more stupid with MY outfit than theirs does. lol!

Gasp, how rude...lol

TrueCap - Why feel bad about having an opinion? At least you don't have "hoof in the mouth" disease a blurt those comments out like I do sometimes. Whenever I see someone and have that "I can't believe they did that" moment, I just think to myself, better them than me.

A bit more on the dark side of having a Cap moon..

Not to sound mean again, but for some reason I've always found it funny to see how Cap mooners look when they express any emotion of happiness, its like their faces can never abandon a certain basic stiffness, no matter how hard they try, so the end result looks a bit awkward to me 😛

Also funnily enough their eyes resemble much more those of a goat than Cap suns' themselves.

I've also noticed how Cap mooners generally always have to deal with some sort of huge emotional trauma at some point in their lives, which changes them forever. Luck seems to escape them, also I've seen so many cases of Cap mooners being victim of either the most bizarre or fated accidents, where their biggest fears actually materialize so to speak.

Really? Abraham Lincoln was a cap mooner, so is Brad Pitt. George Clooney, loads and loads.

Luck seems to find them, but later in life. Just like Saturn wants it to be. It's not like a fire sign, where luck finds them at an early age. (generally speaking)

Maybe Abraham Lincoln feared assassination. Could that be it? I'd have to look into his "fears," biography.

I gotta agree with Boom. But... to an extent I think Cap mooners bring on the negativity that befalls them by refusing to believe there's any other logic or "right way" than their own. Just the energy will attract that kind of bad luck to you. And although I still like Cap mooners, the lot of them I've met are selfish albeit sweet people. Just not very capable of, or born with, much optimism.

I have ... Sun square Saturn, Mercury Square Saturn, Venus square Saturn and Moon trine Saturn. Ergo I think I'm a pretty honorary Capricorn person. 🙂 I do that same thing, but I treat them the same and will subtly lead them towards the "right" way, (my way. Lol!) if they're willing. If not, I just accept 'em how they are. People are people. (I also have Sun, Mercury, and Venus square Neptune with Moon trine Neptune so I have just as much Piscean energy to make up for all the stodgy Cap stuff!)
