It is both a bane and a boon of my existence. That empathy for other people's troubles can really weigh down on me. I try to help the best I can, but also recognize that there are centain things that are not in my control. Some people don't even want or need advice. They just want someone to listen. And with empathy comes understanding.
It helps to balance it out by surrounding myself with positive, upbeat people. Otherwise, it will suck the energy right out of my soul.

coulda sworn I just said the same thing on our aqua board I like to hide there 🙂 Not sure if this is true for all pisces or anyone with pisces in their charts but I guess I learnt it the hard way. Our nature is to give and love with no expectations. When you've learnt that love can hurt the sooner you'll realise you must sometimes hurt to love.

My Mercury in Pisces has a strong affect on me. I understand. *huggles* I feel so vulnerable sometimes, I wonder if that's normal for water dominated people. I just try to be more guarded, and try to learn from the other elements. I think the only thing about water that is bad is being so emotional to the point of being gullible, naive, or just "stuck" emotionally. Some people can just walk away so easy. They don't get so emotionally burdened or tied down. I don't get it.
You became empathatic after learning pisces was strong in you, or you just were? Be you.
Shielding is hard. See, I have that problem too.
Navigating the world as a fish....hmm don't get eaten by sharks or anything else(which is a lot) that could gobble you!
I have always been empathic but, my Aries sun made me self-absorbed so it dulled it a lot. Now, with "the shift" I feel that the Aries is falling away.

@Lynda-Move on before this situation progresses. He is not over the relationship of his Ex. He might be over her but, there is something from their pairing which he is still holding onto. Regardless of what it is, you deserve more than be a second stringer.

you have no clue 'how it feels to be a pisces'...lol venus is exhalted in pisces, you're probably just in your feelings...

our charts are wildly differerent, i have been doing astrology extensivly for many years. kindly post (or inbox) your birth information so i can show you the differences...if you do not feel comfortable doing that. simply post (or inbox) your planetary positions chart (placidus - with sign, planet and degree) please, and i will determine your birth information myself...
then we will see just how similar our charts are...

and the midheaven (or medium coeli), in comparison to other important influences in the chart, such as sun and moon placement, the personal planets, the ascendant/decendant and aspects between said planets, the midheaven is not a very siginificant factor in the chart...all you did was compare the two charts, pick out the mutual placements, and say we were alike...
i guarantee that is not the case. wanna know how? i just do...it's a pisces thing 🙂

venus in pisces can be too much of a good thing if left to roam freely. the love is sincere at its best and for better or worse, has no bounds. from my experience, a short dose at the right time keeps the water flowing smoothly. picture a crappy day at work and coming home to a devoted venus pisces who knows how to rock the boat...
I agree with this actually. Fluffs up my Venus and puts a bow on it.

@yellow01gt- I am confused as to where I said that we were alike. I believe I said that our "your chart isn't really that different from mine". In my original post, I was asking for guidance on dealing with a powerful Pisces in Venus placement. In addition, I have 3 major Pisces placements (Venus, Jupiter, and my midheaven). In interpreted your response was a bit condescending and dismissive of my personal experience. Perhaps, that's just how you roll. No worries. I won't hurl fireballs at you a la my Aries Sun, take you on a guilt trip via my Cancer rising, or freeze you out/plot your demise a la my Cap Moon. 😉

Funny you are writing about this because I have the some of the same placements on my chart as you, for the most part I don't know the rest of it. Is just very wierd to see this. I am also a Aries, with a cancer rising, cap moon, venus pisces, mars in gem, mercury aries. I am feeling the same way you do.
