So I was in the car with my girlfriend and she was crying about something that had taken place earlier and that put a hole through her ego and embarrassed her. But my question is, why did I fall more in love with her when she was crying and looked so innocent and in pain(I felt her pain)...I actually felt like hugging her and comforting her when she looked so vulnerable. It's like she finally opened up and showed me who she was and that's what I wanted all this time. Do we finally find who we are when we are in surrender and vulnerability?
Normally before this I have had problems having feelings for her, I was very closed. But I've always tried to boost her confidence and help her bring out the best in her and not succumb to fear and naively put up a shell to cover her vulnerability.
I would really appreciate some pov's on the situation. Thank you 🙂
Her vulnerability & your reaction to it proved you care enough to comfort her but whether that was just an instinctive reaction rather than an indication of something deeper still remains to be seen.
