why do we fight over insignificant things like money, land, power status and greed and kill and hurt others i wouldn't be able to live with myself if i killed another human being

How come we can't all love one another and live in peace and harmony

I ask myself these things everyday

I know good and evil is real but i believe one day the world will be peaceful one day

I hear you LV & often ask myself the same. Even though some things in life really arn't all that simple, especially when it comes to the (mass) collective conscious, still in NO way means unified peace is NOT unattainable. I think people should get more educated, aware or just use some good common sense; fear or religious extremism is no exuse for tiranny and murder. The actions or ideologies of a select few should never dictate what's just & right for the whole. I also believe ego and peace can co-exist in the bigger scheme of things. A healthy, productive ego vrs its destructive, greedy counterpart. My country, for instance is very proud, peaceful and productive, and that goes wayyy beyond our rich natural resources. It takes alot more than that or (land gushing with oil) to have a truly free, just and liberal kind of nation. Only the people & leaders themselves can make the real difference. So yeah, i believe it CAN be done if its wanted bad enough. On the other hand, i think there ARE certain people/cultures that are almost "programmed" or even forced to fight from the get-go. Weapons in the hands of small children to me is one of the worst crimes. For some, for many, it's what they "WANT" to do, regardless. Even a petty thief may steal simply because he's lazy or doesn't care or will take the time to consider how his actions effect others. I'm thinking you really DO have to stay at least 2 or 3 steps ahead, because sometimes you just can't make sense with the senseless.

I also think our prison systems will need a good overhaul. Though, hopefully someday we will no longer need (so many) cages for humans! Or who knows, maybe terraform some distant planet for the "worst" unredeemable offenders, which doesn't seem so far out of reach in the next 2000 years via the Age of Aquarius. No doubt, some incredible journeys and colonization of space are expected, but please no STAR WARS..lol

I guess where there's life & oxygen, there is always hope.
