Why believe in and practice Buddhism?

I mean, other than the health benifits that come from meditation (Not only Buddhist meditate) and the wanting to be moral I don't see anything very great about it.
To me it looks almost as silly as Christianity.
I said almost because Buddhism is more of a philosophy and science is starting to find things that make sense in Buddhism as opposed to Christianity.
You still have to have faith in Buddhism to truly devote yourself and that angers me.
How does it go—
No God told us to do good things or about the law of Karma or any other magical stuff but we discovered all of these things ourselves... I.E. Buddha did. And now we should follow the teachings of the Buddha or we will be sorry?
Uuuuuuuhm...
Why didn't the boy describe how he discovered the law of Karma or that reincarnation exists?
We should just listen to random people and hope that their right? Which people!?
If I were to do that I would rather choose to follow Christianity as "God" was the one who founded it instead of man but I won't do that because just like reincarnation their is no reason I should believe a god exists.
Really though, since forever humans have always needed to see things.
We are scientific beings and I don't see why Jesus or Buddha didn't explain things more.
There are people who haven't heard of Jesus, are they going to hell?
There are people on Earth who haven't heard of Karma, reincarnation or enlightenment and I wonder if their "bad" deeds will still be counted against them that they be born a frog next life.
NoNONoNo. Morals are things that people have evolved into having.
Our morals aren't Universal!
We humans were able to Evolve partly because we acted in groups or in societies and I believe that this is where we grew our concepts of morality.
We learned not to kill our neighboors, eat their brains and take their money because that would happen to us. "Do unto others as you want others to do to you"-Yeshua
This is the same with Buddhism. Buddha saw that if we did that to our neighboors we would likely get the same in return.
And this differs from Karma in that it isn't controlled by some magical law, or at least not one that we have any reason to believe in.

With that said it makes sense that if people are smart enough to get away with immoral things that would be the end, no punishment
other than the regret and blindness that will fill their mind and add to their commiting immoral things in the future which will hurt them only through loss of awareness(Which is a pretty big deal).
The Universe Appeared, we are too dumb to comprehend how or why, we are a Biological fungus that works mostly at a societal level(Fungi...), Morality doesn't really exist but is a part of us and will make us feel better to follow, We go nowhere when we die, We have no Spirit/Soul, Everything is basically one but we see ourselves as individuals separate from others which is just the Universe doing its thing and isn't as magical as we all think, God,Heaven,Hell,Reincarnation,Karma,Spirit ETC are all man made concepts that we think will further our species and so they stick.
We are much much smaller than we could even imagine (Even if we knew the physical size of the Universe) and our entire solar system blew up killing all beings it would not matter whatsoever and probably wouldn't even affect many of its surroundings very much and if it did it wouldn't matter. Ignorance is bliss. The Truth hurts. We are worthless and should therefore try to not be worthless in any and every way possible as that is our obvious desire.
There is no question that "Alien" beings smarter and more evolved than us exist. They must or we don't. The chances they do exist and with much higher intellect is waaaay too high for them to not. It is very likely they have already came to Earth and there is a possibility that they have screwed with us in some way or another like maybe our genes or IDK.
Spirituality is not the only silly thing our ancestors have helped us evolve, there are alot of silly things our brains/minds do that are pointless and actually hold us back like for example having fear where there need be none just because of something as simple as a color or pattern on the floor that our subconcious relates to a negative event from our personal past.
It is astoundingly likely that Astrology exists but I doubt it has to do with the stars and that instead has more or entirely to do with time instead.
If Astrology doesn't exist it would be very strange that I can always tell a sign of a person or at least guess their element.
Even in video games I have guessed right almost always.
This cannot just be chance.

Scientists are being a bit blind and stubborn in this area especially.
They think that once someone identifies themself with their sign they will automatically become more like it but
this just isn't so.
I mean, to some small degree it might be true but for the most part the sign fits the person at birth.
Isn't it also strange how people that know nothing of Astrology still choose friends and lovers of compatable signs?
If you were to take people of compatable signs who hadn't heard of Astrology and place them 2 at a time in a room and tell them that it is a waiting
room for a random experiment that will take place soon you will see much more positive interactions between the compatable signs than with the "most
likely to be enemies" signs.
Do the experiment 1000000000x because the results will be constant.

On another forums site I had posted these very things and every response I recieved was negative and ignorant.
I don't remember everything they had said and I can't check as I have been banned for posting these very things but I do recall one thing said.
It went something like "You seem to not like Buddhism or Christianity so why does it bother you?"
and another said something like "It seems like someone is forcing you to believe in Buddhism and if that's true you should just forget about it"
and here is my response now that I can actually post one.
To the first, I love Buddhism and Christianity and would love it if one made sense so that I could have something to believe in!
To the second, Nobody is forcing me to do anything! I crave Spirituality but the dilemma is that I am probably the least ignorant person you'd ever meet.
I cannot walk blindly down a path for no reason.
There are so damn many paths that claim to be the only but it makes sense that not one of them is the only.
Oh, let me just put on this blindfold and walk down this dark road all because I saw a sign that said "If you seek eternal life and bliss grab this blindfold, put it over your eyes and walk till you die"
I have done that before but now there are several roads with the same signs before them and I couldn't help but to walk down them without that blind fold.
It is like the tree of life. LOL
Don't eat the tasty fruit or you will die=Don't see truth or you will die.
Everything I know about myself says that I should become a monk and seek the only thing that makes me happy but how now can I do that?
Which religion is solid the whole way through?
None.
I will suffer.
Ignorance is bliss but maybe Ignorance is happiness too.

Your mind is still closed ... inside of your mind, you only recognize god in terms of what you've been told .. which makes you jsut like 'them'.

The truth lies outside of the god program .. until you shed yourself from that confinement, you will always be searching for some kind of proof.

even this statement ... "I would rather choose to follow Christianity as "God" was the one who founded it instead of man but I won't do that because just like reincarnation their is no reason I should believe a god exists." .... has only to do with you needing proof for your mind to follow it.

Which makes you no different than 'them'

You look for validation, you look for proof so you can mold how you believe ... which is still just a belief.

Outside of the your mental chains is where the truth lies.
