Are virgos commonly compatible with scorpios?

Every Scorpio guy I've ever known, I've had this weird connection with. Like somehow everytime I'm around one, I somehow become more witty and playful and we develope this biting repartee, I love it! Is it their sun signs, or do you think something with their other planets that are compatible? I'll list them below.
My problem with Scorps though, has always been that they all get way too intense, on an almost stalkerish level, everytime. Are they all like this? It's a total turnoff to me! Not that I don't like attention, but I also want to have to work a little bit to get them so that in my crazy head they seem more "valuable" if that make sense? I like to chase, not be chased. Also, Geminis and I seem to have a very strong love/hate relationship.. My mom, first ex bf, and gay best friend are all gems and they all make me crazy! They are so frustrating to me.

I don't know if this may help but I'm a scorp female who dated a virgo male. The relationship was amazing. We had this connection that was unreal. However, he screwed up so I had to end it. But I have heard we make a great mix and in my experience I would have to agree with it.

Virgo/Scorpio is a "3:11" relationship. Its one of the most harmonious for long term relationships, and for learning/growing from each other.

And yea, all scorpios are crazy intense passionate people. Its virgo's job to slow our roll. *giggle*
