Being Young Sucks

Why is it when an older "woman" swears or says something to hurt another she would be considered as passionate but when a younger "boy" does the same thing he is considred ignorant?

I really can't wait until I am 30.

It's really difficult when you're not taken seriously when you try so hard. I am a passionate person with a very very dark and difficult background but when people hear me talk, they listen to the tone and not what I'm saying.

The only thing young people have is looking better than the 40 year olds but I think at this point I'd rather be fat and hiteously ugly with big binocular glasses made in the 80's and an out of proportion foot on one side of my body.

Lazy thinking. People would consider younger people ignorant more readily than they would older people because younger people tend to be more ignorant than older people. Pretty standard prejudice, all in all.

I didn't take you seriously at first, I must confess, but my opinion of you has changed lately, since you've really started acting more maturely(though you still slip from time to time). Give it time, I'm sure everyone else will come around.

Yum, why did you look at me as immature? Is it because I swear alot? It's stupid of me to say that I will never change for people but you almost have to if it effects your reputation. This is why I'm asking.

I think we hate being restricted and being told things like, "You're too young to know what real love is" or "You can't be that wise because all you young people do is party and there's no experiance in that."

Well I'm tired of the sterio type. Very annoying.

That is what I mean. People like you are telling me that I have no reputation. How do you know that? Did you know that I have a business consisting of 4 employees? You are basing things on what I say right here. I keep alot from these boards but I would even guess that I have a must larger list of achievements than you or most people in their 30's. So what defines a "rep"? Is it the way people look or sound or talk? Or is it what they do?

I think you told me something that is ignorant. The way you type, I would guess that you were 16 or 17 and not to mention you are waching a cartoon show right now.

I think everyone wants to prove themselves to everyone in secret but I wasen't attacking you, I was proving something apart from the typing comment. And even if I'm at the bottom of the ocean, I'm still a pearl not a piece of crap. 🙂

Your parents let you go out alot or did you sneak? I thought yours were strict.
