Smile? Random people often feel it necessary to tell me to smile and I find it really annoying. I don't walk around with a permanent grin on my face, but that doesn't mean I'm sad or angry. I don't know too many people that do walk around like grinning idiots, yet nobody seems to bother them about it. People tell me I'm too standoffish, aloof, and unapproachable...*shrugs*...any other Scorps experience this?

Omg, LOL! Yes, this happens to me all the time! I'm often accused of looking bitchy or arrogant, when in fact, that's just my face. I've never understood the whole asking me to smile thing either, citing the same thing you have - am I supposed to walk around grinning like an idiot all the time??

I was recently told that I looked intimidating "but in a good way", whatever that means, and in high school, I had a girl who hated me for no reason but for the fact that she thought I was stuck up because of the way I looked...she had never spoken a single word to me. Once she did, she changed her mind about me, but up until then, I was, to her, a total snob.

It probably doesn't help that most of the time, I'm walking around staring straight ahead, not making eye contact with anyone and not noticing anything going on around me. That's more a product of needing to get somewhere and not wanting to be stopped to chat though. I'm glad I'm not the only Scorp this happens to.

Wow wow wow I really thought this was just me!! Yes ALL the time. In fact...if I'm not in my house I'm being told to smile. Then sometimes people will say "If looks could kill" and I'm thinking seriously...if you had of seen me when I WAS in that mood you most likely would have died on the spot! Most people who know me stop saying it after a while but even my dad sometimes tells me to smile and he's a scorp himself 😛

Haha that happens to me all the time too. I used to work the cash register at a retail store one time & I got in trouble for being too mean because I didn't smile. The customers would actually complain that I looked mean. They told me to smile more. I didn't know what to do because I tried so hard to be nice, but it wasn't good enough. Maybe that's what they mean when they say Scorpios like to work behind the scenes. lol

And people stop & ask me what's wrong all the time.

lol...same here! people are asking me if there is some thing wrong, why i look upset/sad/angry, but in fact, there is nothing wrong. it pisses me off, too! one time my boss even told me that he receives some complain to some people that i don't smile. he told me to smile. he even ask me if there is something wrong with me or that there is something bothering me. i told him there is nothing wrong or bothering me. and he said, "I FEEL THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG OR BOTHERING YOU!" which really pisses me off that at the back of my mind saying, "wtf are u saying? there is nothing wrong and there is nothing bothering me. you don't know who really i am, so don't act as if you know that there is something wrong with me!"

and i think it is also true, people rarely see us smile, but when we do it is genuine!
