My fellow Scorpios

What other signs do you tend to lean towards, whether it be friends or significant others?

For me, I couldn't even tell you how many Aquas and Aries are in my life followed closely by Libras and Geminis. Leos and Sags. I've had a few Scorpio friends. One Pisces. No Cancer. I don't vibe well with earth signs... I'm curious about you all and what relationships/friendships you have found to work well for you.

As for relationships I have dated a Virgo, which was not a good match for me personally... I dated a few Aquas and those were good relationships but we decided to be friends. Still friends to this day. I tried Taurus and that was very destructive for me. We are still on and off but his Venus is in Gemini...I think that is what made that ending factor. I'm sure most of this is placements. If the signs you get along with are different than mine, include the placements you know if you'd like. I'm curious to see differences and learn more about you. I always see how Scorpios are supposed to mostly get along with earth and water signs and here I am, completely awry from the "norm". Maybe my air placements are the cause of this. It piqued my interest. Plus my dad is an Aqua and my mother a Libra. This could also go into play of course.

I get along quite well and tend to be drawn to the mutable clan. Best friends/fam and relationships.

Hello! My chart is water heavy, but I communicate through fire (Sag). I tend to like signs that would never ever ever like me back, lol. Let me see here.....

Not a fan of Aries.
One of my best friends is Taurus! I love her to death. We get along really well and love talking a lot. I like the balance we bring to the table.
I like to date Gemini, if only Gemini wanted to date. I've actually had a handful of bad experiences with Gems. I can't seem to get them interested enough to stay with me. I blame my heavy water, but I love their quick wit and manipulative skills. I love how they're always up for an adventure.
I can't deal with Cancer romantically, they're too too sensitive for me, because I'm really blunt and have a quick temper. I love my Cancer best friend though. He's awesome. Just being in his aura is comforting. He's so sweet and kind.
I dated a Leo once. I could not stand how he always needed to be the center of attention, or just needed attention in general. I like how they live large, though. If they could just turn the attention thing off.....
I. LOVE. VIRGO. They're some of my best friends. Similar sense of humor, and can handle my shadiness. I dated Virgo once, it was nice. I'm talking to a Virgo right now.
My mother is Libra, and so are several of my friends. Libra keeps me grounded and in check, and I love them for that. I am a fan of their objectivity since I'm so emotional sometimes.

One of my closest girl friends is Scorpio, and I'm talking to a Scorpio right now. It's nice to feel understood, but in romantic terms I find it hard to date someone so similar to myself. It's bunches of fun though. I love the company of a kindred spirit, no less.
Sags. I can't get my shit together with Sags. I often push them away with my intensity. I find them too laid-back when I don't want them to be (yes, on my own terms haha), but they're so sexy to me. I don't know why, but some of my best physical relationships were with Sag.
Caps. They're cool, I guess. I like their drive for success and how grounded they are, but I often find them not emotional enough for all my water.
Aquarius. I dated one, loved the intelligence, but was missing the passion. Too rational for me.
My longest relationship to date was with a Pisces. I also have a Pisces best friend. I like the fish, but I wish the fish wasn't so easy to hurt. I still miss my Pisces ex a lot, even though it's been almost half a year since we were together.

I feel an affinity with all of them in different ways ~ the water sign ladies are very empathic which i like and the fires signs fun



What did the Taurus guy with Gem moon do?

Well we did get along great, but he was/is not interested in being dedicated to one person but at first led me to believe that he was. i want to give him the benefit of the doubt though and just think he didn't mean to be that way but with my venus in scorpio, i took this as more of an attack than i should have. we are still KIND OF friends...but i am more cautious than friendly towards him. more guarded. but his venus is actually the one in gemini. a bit indecisive. so i can't blame him, which is why i still consider him somewhat of a friend though i avoid speaking to him.

To almost all of you: I wish I got along well with earth signs! I feel like such an outcast over here. That's why I made the post. Mainly I was curious to see if anyone else had a hard time getting along with earth signs as I do. And it's not that I dislike earth signs, it's just that we don't seem to get along. Especially for long periods of time aka friendships/relationships. Caps definitely don't like me. Not sure why. Tauruses like me but the ones I've known either lied, stole from me, or borrowed without giving back. We get along until those points. Though they could have been giving in to a selfish streak. I know not all Taurus are this way. I just met them at the wrong place and time. Virgo...the only ones I've known tried to get with me and they came off as too clingy and didn't want me to have a life. As for friendship with Virgo, I've never had a Virgo friend! I haven't met that many honestly. I'm mainly gathering that I am the oddball of the Scorps. I want to get along with earth signs! I just don't seem to. Water I get along with but never get close to, and I definitely don't date them for long either😢 it's very strange to me.

Overall, I don't respond the best to earth signs, but I do appreciate and respect some of the traits that at least 2 earth signs have. That's me though. I tend to look for the "good" and I can respect it for what it is, but still keep my distance. I have a particular fondness for Virgos because we share the type of Merc energy that gets my juices going. They're also odd ducks. I dig odd peeps. If they could learn to control the chatter and excuse a grammar faux pas every once and a while I could be around them more.

Of course other elements in the chart play a role as well.

You are definitely not alone. I don't have any close relationships with Earth signs either. I try being close with my little brother, who is a Taurus, but he can be so very headstrong and insensitive. I have dated two Capricorns in the past, but it never worked out and I ended up leaving them. My three closest friends are a Gemini and two Pisces. I am a Gemini Rising though, so maybe that's why? I have been friends with Scorpios in the past, but they have never lasted. I think we're just too alike or something, because those friendships always started out being very close and then it seemed llike we just ended up clashing eventually. So I don't know what it is, but perhaps it all does have something to do with our other elements in our chart.
