The person you're with when you die will not necessarily be the love of your life. It's best if it is, of course. But it doesn't always work out that way.

Nowadays people talk about love more, even try to present it to you like some kind of new product just invented but actually love much less. If you stopped giving to preserved "Self" you never loved, as you didn't allow yourself to love, you didn't allow it to grow. Love shows through the things you do towards that person and no other way.

Excellent point! I didn't even notive that -- how people talk more about love now. Of course I was born in the 80s so I wouldn't know outside of listening to my elders.

I wish we had a crystal ball so we would know if we "are" with the person who is right for us.
It would save a lot of time and potential sadness
