Venus progressed into Scorpio!??!

I'm very new to astrology... Im now looking into chart progression... In my chart progression as of today...My venus and Ascendent have progressed into Scorpio... Coming from a libra venus and libra Ascendent... It is very overwhelming!!! Everything has seemed to change overnight... Is this a drastic transition!?! Scorpio is a very dark, obsessive sign so I've read... Is this a negative placement!?!

Yes... My sun is originally in virgo in my natal... However in my progression chart my sun has progressed to Libra... Here is my Natal Chart:

Is this a drastic change?

Mine is now in Gemini... I am nothing like a Gemini. I find my progressed chart is nothing like me, so I don't really have any reason to believe in progressed charts.
