What's with all the sun/moon/venus/jupiter stuff?

Can someone decipher what my chart is? As in, which planets rule which things/traits/tendencies? What's the deal with how many degrees of each sign that each planet is in? Does it really make a difference if I was born at 6:04 in the morning, or if I was born at 8 in the evening? What about what city I was born in? Does it really matter?

I plugged in my info, and this is what it spit out, but I don't know what any of it means! Is the N. Node the same thing as an ascendant? (And I only know the word ascendant as it relates to astrology because I ran across it somewhere, but it wasn't explained...)

Thanks for the info, y'all. 🙂 I guess I'll need to do some more reading to know whether the moon in libra comment was meant as an observation or as something else, lol.

nothing wrong with libra. I've got lots of libra. It's nice to have with a scorp sun, it softens you around the edges a little bit 😉

Hehe, that's what I was figuring. I went to cafeastrology and looked up all of my planets and junk. Oddly, not all of it seemed to fit nearly as well as the description of my sun sign does, and there are several conflicting points. Maybe that's why I'm so damn confused all the time!
