Why do youtest us?

Everything I have read about Scorpios is that they test you. They push your boundries and see how far they can get with you. But WHY? I do not understand. (my Scorpio recently did some testing that pissed me off and he doesn't understand why I am mad) I say how I feel and I am totallly honest in every aspect, (Why lie, it'll come out eventually) and yet my Scorpio keeps testing me. It frustrates me and I am trying to understand the thought process. I know it happens but why? What are you trying to get? Are you going to get mad if I don't answer correctly? What are you gaining by throwing all of these tests at me? But if I get mad, I have failed...why?

(PS I am a Leo on the Cancer/Leo cusp if this helps)

I test without even realizing I'm testing. I test for a number of reasons.. I might test to find out your strength, your loyalty, your honesty, your weakness... The reason for the testing is because I can't take things at face value. I can't believe what you say just because you said it. We all know people lie. The proof is in the pudding, and when I test people is when I reveal for myself what I need to reveal.

But like I said, half the time, I don't even realize I'm doing it and probably wouldn't even consider it 'testing' you.

Thank you. This helps. He knew what he was doing and said he wanted to know my reaction. He kept asking til I blew up and told him what I thought about the question. Than he backed off. And seemed content. *sigh* Wonderful and crazy ride but need a decoder ring I swear.
