Oh no!!!! something is wrong with my Taurus friend. We like each other and have expressed it somewhat and stated that we want to give 100% of ourselves to each other. since he's been going through a lot, he don't feel it's fair to be with me and have a lot of issues going on with him. he wants to get things together for himself first (eventhough he didn't directly say this to me i knew what he meant)but we are and will always be friends because that's how we started out anyway but let me tell you. I've been trying to call him since father's day (he has a child). I got no answer, so I tried the next day no answer. then last night I called and the phone has been disconnected. this is the second time his phone is disconnected. the first time we got back in touch and he gave me the new number. now i don't know what to do. should I go over to his house to check on him? He's been having a lot of problems lately (no job, custody issues with his baby mother, grandmother passed away (his rock by the way) and now his own mother was in the hospital last time i spoke with him) i hope he's o.k what should I do——??

i really think you should out of concern, but the best is not to bring out issues between you and him at this point of time. tell him how concerned you are and how you can help him though he might push away the help - taureans are stubborn they like to do it their way and they feel that they cannot rely or trust others. just keep on explaining it to him but if he pushes you away give him time...good luck to u my dear friend!

I agree with Myztikal, and she is right about the Taurus tendency to reject or shy away from help--part of it is a pride thing, and part of it is that they truly believe that their best friend is themselves. If that makes sense. They have a hard time "leaning" on people. It makes them feel out of sorts.

I would also agree with Myztikal that now is not the time to bring up personal issues between the two of you (even though I can uderstand the temptation to do so). He might take this as you feigning interest in his problems due to your own secret agenda.

As an example, a Taurus guy I know who was going through some weird/bad emotional stuff really burst my bubble when I asked him if his melancholy was anything to do with "us"...he lashed out immediately and said, "Not everything that's going on with me has something to do with you--I do have a life outside of you, you know." (Ouch; I was only asking because I'm a scorp and I like to leave no stone unturned, but I wish I had posed the question differently now!).

I wish you luck too my friend! Myztikal and I have your back! : )

I totally agree with both of you. It's as if I was thinking the same and you were ahead of me in writing it.
We have similar situations; my friend is going through problems and I believe he needs space from me right now.
I did not bring up anything about us the last time we spoke. And we have not been in touch in months because I don't
want to bother him. I just feel it's the right thing to do. I definitely think that the Taurus man not only needs space when going
through difficult times, they don't want to burden others with their problems. I think they prefer to work things out on their own
before involving someone who they feel is special in their lives. And after reading other posts by Taurus males, once a Taurus male
indicates your special to him -- and the connection is there, you are not forgotten.

I feel bad for the above poster. I'm sure he didn't mean that. But I know it's difficult not to take it personal. I do hope he
gets in touch with you again.

Aries female,

Hi, thank you for your encouraging well-wishes, that is very nice of you! Well, believe me, that Taurus and I didn't skip a beat; I took what he said at face value and tried my best not to be offended (hard to do)--and decided that in the future, that is just one question that I will never again ask! lol. But we're good now; more than good in fact.
