So I've been thinking about how the star signs of the Earth element relate to one another. What I am thinking is that overall the Earth signs are very practical and try to evolve towards ambition. Think about it. Isn't Taurus a very practical energy that has a good sense of beauty but yet is kind of lazy and lacking in ambition. I mean it is symbolized by a cow, an animal which just usually does not affect the world around it. Just sitting down on the grass and enjoying the Earth. Then Taurus evolves into Virgo. The way I see it Virgo has the same sense of practicality as Taurus but attempts to affect the world by cleaning itself (In my opinion Taurus kind of lacks in cleanliness). The main point of a virgos life is to be clean and orderly. I'm having a bit of trouble determining Capricorns role in all of this. A lot of literature I read on astrology describes Capricorn as being this really fatherly energy which always chastises those unruly 'Aries characters'. But I kind of think Capricorn actually sheds some of the reserve and analytical mind set that Virgo has. Instead of being stand offish and keeping to itself it tries to spread its views among other people.

So... What do y'all think about this?

Another quality that I think is rather characteristic of people with Earth signs is body art. I feel like tattoos and piercings and guages are all really Earthy things to do. Some people might not think so because they connect Earth signs with conservatism, but in reality Earth signs are just masters of life style s, all different kinds I might add, including the alternative one.
Anyone else feel the same?

I'm quite fond of Earth signs. Good folks. Reliable. I always though Taurus was represented by the Bull. A driving force. Strength. Though I must admit the lazy part. They are that. But when in "ambition" mode, they can be quite tenacious.

Capricorns are quite a mystery. I think the difficulty in understanding them stems from the fact that unlike Virgo & Taurus, Capricorns are not fully Earth: They are half-Earth, half-Water. They're not that easy to read. The face they show at work is very different from the face they show outside of "formal" atmospheres.
