What do you look for in a potential partner?

I'm just curious about what fellow Taureans look for in a potential/long term partner. Just curious to see if there are any similarities... I have become particularly jaded with the people I meet lately. *sigh*

I was talking with a Leo friend of mine and realised that she and I are never going to fight over the same type of guy. LOL she enjoys the drama, the stress, the arguments and I really just want someone who is able to just mean what they say and say what they mean dammit. Is it that hard or am I completely disillusioned. LOL

Sincerity- genuinely like who I am and truly want to build a life with me

Security- consistency, dependability, solid responsibility and reliability

Sex- some honest to god, damn good chemistry

Affection- cuddling, touching, always

Honesty- lying is seriously unnecessary and just creates more problems

Loyalty- !!!!

Respect- I'm a person, I'm not a doormat, I'm not an object, treat me the way you want to be treated and we're good

I can completely relate to this, someone who loves to laugh is so very important. As is someone who can leave their ego at the door and not take themselves far too serious. I am also a very affectionate person, so I don't think I could ever really be with someone who pulls away from that. "Someone who knows their own mind and takes me there for walks, often" - I love how you phrased this, I can picture it in my head - if that makes any sense. lol Possessive -


Personally, I like to be direct and honest in all approaches so I really look for the same in a partner. I'm a sentimental old soul, lol my cancer moon tugs at my heartstrings a lot too, so I guess someone who can understand that and not mistake it for weakness 😛 Also, my family and friends are the world to me, so I usually gravitate to people who has strong family values.

What you see is what you get with me and I have no qualms about showing my affection or my feelings, so someone who appreciates that is a must. I strongly believe that respect, trust and loyalty is paramount in all relations you have in life and I am scrupulously faithful - so there's no middle ground here for me, I expect the same from my partner.

Someone who is compassion and loves animals - a must. There's a saying that I think sums it up perfectly "Character is how you treat those who can do nothing for you". Admi
