Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be gone, gone gone, from June 3rd through June 8th, on my Disneyland trip with my mom! (I realize how dorky that sounds, but trust me, we're not dorks, we have a blast when we go together! No boys, woohoo!!)~~~I will be sure to post my flight numbers and times so that in case something terrible happens you will know if I'm dead. Is that morbid?

I will also post a trip report (uh-oh, another nerd alert. lol...) when I get back.

It's gonna be so much fun, we're going to ride that big scary coaster in the newer park, called the California Adventure park. The coaster is called "California Screamin'", and it's actually pretty damn scary. And I love roller coasters! The launch you from zero to 55 in less than six seconds (it might be two, I can't remember), and then you go upside down in a loop shaped like a mickey mouse head! I've ridden it before but I am so excited! And there's lots of other rides we'll do. I'm most excited about the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland though--THAT IS THE BEST RIDE EVER!! I love it! And I love the queing area too, you go through this really long series of underground tunnels that look like the inside of an archaeological dig site, and it's all dark and creepy. Just being in line is half the fun of that attraction. lol.

And I've been saving up my money like a fiend so I can do some SERIOUS shopping! I am such a souvenier whore!! And we're going to have our pictures taken with all the characters this time. Last time we were in too much of a hurry to wait in line that long. Eeyore here I come! He's my favorite!

And we're going to eat at the yummiest, best places (NOT the froo froo expensive ones!) We're having New Orleans style food, and Po' Boy sandwiches, and crab! Lots of crab. And lobster nachos!!

Okay, so I forgot to post my flight numbers, but oh well; I'm obviously alive ~ our planes managed to stay in the air (miracle of miracles---one of the planes was a 30-seater PROP plane called SkyWest or something, and I will never fly in a tiny plane ever *ever* again in my whole life. It was super scary, we hit major turbulence out of San Fransisco, it was awful, it was cramped, the whole plane was shaking and vibrating so much it rattled your teeth, ugh! Oh, and the flight attendent slept through most of the flight. 🙂 Yeah...)

Okay, so now for the fun stuff. We had a bunch of pictures taken with the characters, which I will show you all once I get them scanned. I got kissed twice by Eeyore (my favorite), once by Tigger and either Chip or Dale (hehehe), and I got a hug and a kiss from Winnie the Pooh. And Goofy "licked" me. 😛

We rode a bunch of rides, some of them multiple times, including California Screamin' IN THE VERY FRONT! (awesome at night!!), the Maliboomer, which shoots you straight up about 150 feet into the air and then "playfully" drops you back down again (sweet mother of god, that was insane!)...we rode Pirates of the Carribean multiple times (that's one of my favorites), and we did the Haunted Mansion tour like twelve times. 😉 That's also one of my favorites. And of course, the Indiana Jones Adventure!! Which, upsettingly, a woman had a heart attack on in one of the cars in front of us (but we didn't know what was happening yet), and as we were walking off the ride about six paramedics were practically running behind us to get to this woman, shouting at little children to make way, scaring everybody...but stuff like that happens a lot there, so you just kind of try not to dwell on it and move on. Anyway (lol), we had our picture taken with Mickey Mouse (last year it was Minnie), and I'll post that one too.

Downtown Disney was a blast, that's where all the bars are, although I didn't go to any of the actual bars, because I was with my mom and that would have been weird (lol), so I just drank at the restaurants. We ate at the BEST place EVER @ Downtown Disney, it's called Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, good freaking lord, it was amazing. I had Catfish Pecan, which was delicious, and with that I ordered a Hurricane, which is apparently this mixed drink sort of thing; I'd never had one before. IT HIT ME LIKE A BRICK! lol, I was trying so hard not to be drunk at Disneyland but that drink was unbelievably strong (plus I'm a total lightweight, so it was partially my fault for ordering it) 😛

Riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain after that was fun though, I wasn't scared at all, I was nice and relaxed from the drink (lol). And let's see...I took $ 500 for spending money with me (including my half of the restaurant bills, half of the tips, half of the professional pics we had taken, etc.), and I now have seven dollars left. lol.....

Disneyland security was actually kind of disturbing, although their special police officers are very nice men, they're fun to talk to because usually nobody commits crimes inside Disneyland, although I did see a group of teenage guys being somewhat chased throughout the park by what looked to be security guards (lol, I say "somewhat" because the guards were doing that really fast walking thing where it's obvious they're trying not to run and scare everyone). Hmm....one gripe about the trip that I do have is that we made a mistake by booking it for June, which is their peak season. It was SO CROWDED it was unbelievable. We (along with everyone else) were doing the "Disneyland Shuffle", where your feet can only move a couple baby steps at a time because the walkways are so packed. It was at times very overwhelming, especially for all the little kids. Lots of screaming/crying kids and mad parents happening. The only reason we booked in June though is because Pirates of the Carribean was going to b
