Friend vs. Love Interest

Hi, I would like to know the differences in how a Virgo treats a friend and a girl he's interested in. They seem the same to me...


I met this Virgo who once used to have a social network but then all of a sudden cut everyone off in his life and buried himself in work.. but he would still keep in contact with me and make room in his busy schedule to hang out with me despite his new solitary life. Now, we're in different countries due to academic reasons and he sometimes makes an effort to keep in touch every once in awhile.


I'm just curious to know if he's just being nice and considers me a real friend or it's something else. He has a Venus in Libra btw.
