this is old news;

in traditional astrology mercury was virgo/gemini, venus was taurus/libra, mars was aries/scorpio, jupiter was pisces/sagittarius, and saturn was capricorn/aquarius

the relationships between the signs who shared a planet are still visible in modern day astrology, although most astrologers (including myself) will very much agree with the new rulerships.

these planets also had assigned elements (mercury: wind, venus: earth, mars: fire, jupiter: water, saturn: earth) which is why virgo has some wind traits, libra has some earth traits, scorpio has some fire traits, sagi has some water traits and aquarius has some earth traits

some say there are still 2 planets to be discovered, which will reveal the true rulers of gemini and taurus but i personally think it works perfectly that these signs should share planets because there are still really strong ties between them

it still rules the same zen even though they have found some of the signs home planets but the old planets still rule them in some way.
