I just thought like saying I finally got my prize for winning third place and second runner up for this stupid literature contest at school... I won ten bucks though. Yay! Ten bucks... Well, I at least had lunch money this way... I really went over board though, I bought a $ 7 meal at Mc Donalds... Seriously, this is living the high life. Seriously, If I had realized they were paying me, I'd have submitted more, or better, poems. Ten bucks though, and two ribbons and a certificate of acheivement... wow. seriously amazing.

Touche`.

Ok really. By accident, I fell over your poem "Fingertips"..
(anyone,anyone..) That was quietly awesome. I don't know if you just banged it out or what. But it's eerie.

It's very direct. Undiluted & non-flowery. I get a mental impression of erractic scrabbling at wooden surfaces; an inherent sense of knowing one's losing it.. mental scrabbling as well. I've been there. Everyone's been there.
That one would find it's welcome on any poetry webring. Seriously.

ooooh boy...
Sorry Espernaut, that would be a very nice compliment if I had actually written that. Those are song lyrics for the song "Fingertips" by an artist called POE. You should hear her songs, she's not too well known (not to my knowledge anyhow) but she's really good. That song was off her first album "Hello", but her second album "Haunted" was even better.

lol phoenix, I think I got the same email... They said they read some of your poetry that you had published here, and they want you to send them your favorite poems so they can publish it there, right? I don't know how they could have read any I published here, sinse I didn't publish any here. I think it's a scam. They only sell the books they make to the people who contributed to them, and they charge you $ 60 for each book.

I hope it's not a scam. But like every other possibly too good to be true offer I've gotten, I'll investigate heavily. Which is what I did with poetry.com, and all I found was that they're backed by the Better Business Bureau and that they've had an "average to below average" consumer complaint record. And the way I see it, unless they make me pay to have my stuff published, I don't see it as a scam. But I could be way off, maybe you know something I don't about these dealies.
