Leo/Gemini Man, Capricorn/Scorpio Woman

We met each other June of 2006. I met her while attending an event with no shortage of people who I had not been aquanited with. I was immediately attracted to her, but not in a way that I have ever been attracted to someone previously.
I met her and socialized with her that night.. to me, it was a very strong bond. We really got to know each other.. we exchanged contact info that night, and kept in contact.

When we are together, we very much enjoy each other's company, especially when we are alone or in a group of four or less. Our conversation flows very easily, and we feel at ease.
When I try to connect with her in a large social setting, I feel like I hit a wall. I feel disconnected from her and her interests, almost at an opposite to how I feel when we are alone.

I love her, and always will.. I would like to be in a serious relationship with her, but I am obviously not in a rush. She shows signs of the same feelings, but sometimes I am not sure if she is simply acknowleding me as a friend or as a partner.
Neither of us are interested in short-term relationships; any relationship that I'm in has to be one that I feel an interest of marrying into, and she seems to be quite the same on that regard.

Without giving away more details, I will say that coming next august, she will be out of the country for 9 months, as such I, nor any of her friends or family, will likely see her.

We have not been in a relationship as a couple as of yet. I want to find out if she feels the same away about me, and if so, acknowledge our relationship and love before she leaves.

I feel that it's quite possible she is feeling the same way towards me: she wants to be in a serious relationship with me, but does not know if I feel the same way. I feel, especially after looking into both of our astrological charts (as well as our composite chart), this has an astrological explanation.

I know quite a bit about both of our charts, so at this point, rather than asking for blunt interpretations of the charts, I would perfer advice that pertains to our current situation, after reading my introduction.

Anything you have to share with me is fine, however 🙂
