Aqua Female/CAp Male: Thoughts & Experiences?

Hello Aquas! Well, I had the pleasure of meeting a Cap male, January 16th, but have NEVER dated one. My sister is a cap and my friend, but we tend to butt heads quite often and not "mesh" well, if you will.

Any Aquas out there have any experience or stories they would like to share on their romantic experiences with a Cap male that will perhaps provide me with some insight?

Caps can usually only capture & entyce 1 side of me.

When I feel like being intellectual, being serious-natured or being more of a predictable routine type of person, I click with Capricorns beautifully.

But when I feel like being a carefree, unpredictable, non-routine, spontaneous rebel sometimes, they get on my nerves b/c they can't match my intensity & often begin the process of misunderstanding me or questioning me all the time. Getting them to be adventurous & to value the art of not caring so much what others think is like pulling teeth.

My opinion is that Caps have more of a 1-dimensional personality whereas we Aquas tend to have a lot more layers. They feel secure when they think they've gotten to know & tamed 1 aspect of us, but the minute they see that there's much more to us, they may get insecure, moody or untrusting

I'm not sure about dating him again, because all the things that someone else may find endearing about him, I think will end up driving me crazy eventually. I've thought about asking him to ease up a bit on the pda and giving some space when I dance instead of being all up on me, but then if that is just how he is, I don't think thats fair.

See what I mean though about noticing an incompatibility in personality & not necessarily wanting to waste time trying to change them or yourself??!!! lol

There's a difference b/w 2 people not clicking b/c of a temporary flaw that comes out occasionally vs. not clicking b/c 2 people's personalities (the part of them that most likely won't change) are totally incompatible in 1 or 2 major areas.

Other signs may not mind such big differences but it just so happens that the very things Caps do that annoy us are also the very things that would cause issues or an immediate disconnection/turn off if the clash was happening with any other sign. Caps don't get special treatment lol

It just so happens that their flaws are 1 of my biggest turn offs. There's a lot I can handle b/c I know the value of picking my battles. But someone who can't capture my interest or who can only stimulate me 50% of the time is not someone I can see myself settling down with.

It's not about finding someone perfect or 100% like you. It's about finding someone who's at least more than 50% compatible with you. I'd rather settle or sign up for being happy 80% of the time vs. being happy or feeling understood only 50% of the time. That's fair!!! And just b/c they or others may not mind the battle of experimenting to see if they can change us doesn't mean that we're going to engage in the same battle with them. Is what it is

Well, I'm more spontaneous than my aqua. And I'm more social than my aqua. Just sayin'.

Then again, my aqua is predominant earth. So maybe that's why it works.

I think caps are the ONLY sign (besides another aqua) who understand the need for space and freedom to do your own thing.

Aquas have all these great ideas and a cap can take those ideas and put them into action. Not saying an aqua can't, but caps have the persistence and patience to nurture the implementation process.

Aquas bring fun and light heartedness to a cap and a cap can bring the aqua back to earth and out of the clouds. It can be complementary if looked at with the right perspective.

Then again, caps earthiness and structure might be a turn off to the wrong aqua. And a flighty, flaky aqua would be a turn off to a cap. So an earthy aqua would get along great with a cap, an airy aqua would not.

However, there are lots of complementary aspects to consider. What one lacks, the other provides. I'd say, really, it depends on the rest of the chart.

Truecap: You bring up a good point as well, there are many other things that factor into compatibility and characteristics of an individual; however, in this particular situation, I think it's best for me to keep on trucking.

All kinds of things! He seems to do better when things are somewhat planned out. I'm usually up for whatever, whenever. One example, I can be completely random with 'lets go here' or 'wanna go do that'. Spur the moment stuff.

I'm not an aqua or a cap but from most of what I read aquas and caps don't mix well at all

+1...sorry but I've never seen this pairing work out long term.
