Aqua sun - Cancer ascendant

Hi folks!

I've got a question about my aqua-"pal" 🙂
He's an aquarius with a lot of capricorn (Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune) and scorpio (Mars, Saturn, Pluto) in his chart, a pisces-moon (aiaiai) and a cancer-ascendant (*faints*) which makes him one very UNLUCKY bastard haha!

He's very cuddly and needy and also very drama and over the top from time to time.. Which in my point of view is uhm.. not so very aqua-like— And my guess is that that's due to his cancer ascendant/pisces moon.. Anyway I'm not quite sure. Maybe aquarians do get like that when they weren't to interfere with the latest mars-expedition or when their maths-book has disappeared 😄

I'm in my exams at the moment and he doesn't get to see me a lot. I'm cusp gemini-cancer and I don't have much problems with that. I know that once I have finished studying.. I'll have loads of time to do wicked stuff!! (..with him) but lately he's been naggin that he doesn't see me enough, and that he has "learnt to miss me" etc, etc!
So I'm like: Ok honey, let's hear it, spit it all out!
But then he's like: oh no.. not now.. don't stress.. focus on your exams.. we'll talk about it all afterwards (in 3 weeks!!!!).
Unfortunately I don't work like that. If he's finished with me, or if he has a problem with me then I want to know about that. I'm not about to wait another 3 weeks to do something about "us" only to find that there's too much distance between us! No, I want to fix it, and I want to fix it NOW. Then I start to drag all his frustrations out of him (not easy......!!!!), giving him my thoughts on how I see things, trying to come up with solutions.. and all at once.. things have cleared up!!! He's relieved and assured..

I'm very interested in astrology, and I have been reading up about it since I was 12. I thought I knew a little bit about the spirit-free aquas.. but they do get moody and restless at times! I feel I don't have to be with him all the time. I love him to death, but I need my space and freedom too. But then after a while it's like I've been neglecting my aqua-mate! Do they really need a serious amount of attention here and there? Maybe this is a good thing, because it shows that they really are into you?
Mind you though, he IS very aqua. He does get cold and rational and distant when I want to now what's goin' on in his big head.

I find that his aqua-sun and ascendant-cancer make a very odd combination.

I'm just curious if anybody knows about this sort of aqua

(though he's pretty conventional given the capricorn traits..)

I am Cancer sun with Aqua Moon, Leo Asc.

Ya, we do need a serious amount of attention, but it seems to be on our terms- not someone elses, unless it was agreed upon well in advance.

I mean if I am told look I cant see you for awhile because I have to...than I am cool with that.

I am restless and would rather escape into the company of people than be on my own (unless I want to be on my own- then just leave me alone).

He is an aqua. but has a heavy water influence so it mellows the Air quality quite a bit

I am a Gemini-Cancer cusp too.

Looks like it can be his Cancer ascendant and Pisces Moon combo that makes him that way.

Cancer ascendants can be very sensitive when they want. I am one too.

You have Moon in Taurus too like me.

He must really be clinging to much for it to bother you. LOL


It's rare to meet an Aqua like that but when it happens...consider yourself lucky.

I thought he would be more aloof!
But maybe he's just trying to say.. if I don't get to see you more often, I WILL get bored, lol!
Still at times he's slightly demanding.......slightly 🙂

And I do tend to give him more attention then, until I find he's getting comfortable with me feeling guilty and sorry for him 😄 then I just stop bothering a while and I wait for him to make an effort himself! It works 🙂
