This pisses me off! This aqua girl im talking to DOES THIS!!!

She'll ask me heaps of questions and she expects an answer when i joke about not telling her shes like NO SERIOUSLY TELL ME!!! But then I ask her certain questions and she'll completely ignore them like she didnt even acknolwedge the question.

If its something I really want to know then i'll be like "you still havent answered my question", otherwise i'll let it go.

Oh isn't this the most WONDERFUL thing about us Aquas!?! I've heard this alot too. When I 1st meet someone, I ask most of the questions. Almost like I'm interrogating them or interviewing them, BUT that's really not my intention.

The way I see it, the only way to know some things that I REALLY want to know quickly is to literally ASK. There are some things/topics & questions that I want answers to & to be honest, I feel that if I don't hurry up & take the initiative to ask those questions OR bring up those topics, that that person will never voluntarily tell me those things. So what do I do? I literally ask.

I ask b/c 1. It's my way of getting rid of the little devil on my shoulder that's shouting, "Find out EVERYTHING!" & 2. It's my way of seeing/finding out how secretive or open another person is. When a person tells me their entire life story too quickly, I get turned off easily. But yet I'm sure that very same person would be just as turned off persay I asked them 1 million questions too. So it's kind of a lose-lose.

It's funny that you mentioned how much we DON'T like being asked the questions. When someone bombards me with questions, I'm like "Whoa whoa! Who are you, the CIA or something?" & I'll immediately get defensive, feel pressured or even possibly feel like the other person needs to give me a freakin' chance to reveal certain things on my own vs. them being so impatient & asking me.

I don't mind being asked the questions AS LONG AS I've done the majority of the question asking myself. Well no I take that back. As long as I feel that I know the SAME or MORE about them than they know about me, I'm comfortable answering any questions that are asked of me. BUT the key though is that I don't want to be the ONLY 1 opening up & spewing out my life story. I like to know that the other person doesn't have any problems going 1st. Plus, how willing or not someone is to answer my questions tells me alot about them. And everybody knows that Aquas NEVER walk away from ANY situations/conversations that allows for them to potentially see someone else's true colors!

I love it when people ask me the questions..you also learn stuff about the person doing the asking because the questions they ask will reveal a lot about things they find important, interesting etc.

I don't think asking heaps of questions is a bad thing.

I'm in the same boat. It's also fun when all of us don;t know the answers and we go on talking about the possibilities and shit like that. Half the time most of my conversations with people start with one of us usually asking an odd question and then bam! 3 hours gone spent talking. Usually about nothing but it helps pass the time. Or we could just be information addicts. I know other Aquas including myself who just love knowing about random shit. Not gossip, gossip is useless bullshit, but the ins and outs of things. Things with some practical or intellectual merit.
