Aquarian ablity to adapt

How is your ablity to mirror or adapt to the crowd you happen to be around on a given day.

Advanced. I compare it to that saying "when in Rome do like the Romans". The romans always end up thinking im roman too, not knowing that i can also be a mongol, kazakstani, etc. No crowd is ever hard to please after a few observations. Luckily for me, i can decipher people in seconds flat and know instantly if i need to amp up or decrease my "abilities".

God, i can discuss a hairy wart then turn around and talk cupcakes with someone else. People think we click...umm...no we dont..i just speak you and your language. It kinda feels fake thou bcause you can be everything (to everyone) and sometimes you wonder who is the real you. But with me that easy also...I KNOW WHAT/WHO I AM NOT and no amount of adapting can make me go against that.

I wouldn't say I go out of my way to talk to different people but it might be a mixture of my upbringing, nationality etc. I'm able to grasp things easier and relate to others more easily. Bit like I said before it's more comfort factor for other people and like WaterCup I dislike it when people feel like they're on the outside.

I can talk about shoes with girls, talk about sports with guys, talk about other random stuff. The weird thing is even though I call it mirroring I'm still me, not changing my values or beliefs to suit others I think it's more of a personality change more than anything.

well if you're "AIR" dominant, you're a "thinker"; you're not much of a "doer" if you don't have dominant fire.
Although, if you have enough fire, you can do whatever you want to do.

Is it really everyone else's problem? Or could it be that the airy type, whose cool objectivity and sociability have earned him the reputation of appearing to be the most "normal" of the types, has a rather infantile approach to the world of feeling? Could it be that he must appear detached, controlled and reasonable because he is really terrified of what might be boiling away down in the depths?

that's why dominant air people really need fire. The fire will help push your "ideas" to flow and generate, like that of a windmill. When that windmill is flowing, through the engine of fire. It's like this powerful source of energy that can bring "electricity" to homes across the country. Sounds good huh?

@lisabethur8-So true. Some of my air sign dominant friends hover around opportunities or blow past them. They need the intensity of fire to make something stick.

My gem girl friend claims that i even match my speech to the receiver ie tone, speed, venacular, and dialect. I never gave much thought i just know people and how to deal with them.

haha this is TOO funny! me too! Don't mean to sound vain or anything but if people sound 'plain' I won't use fancy words, counter sarcasm with sarcasm, intelligence with intelligence. To some extent even accents, people have a hard time exactly where I come from and I swear I'm not doing it on purpose it just comes out 😛

Well yes it is everyone else's problem we dont care. Truth is i am emotional i cry at movies and feel sad when that certain friend doesnt call. I just dont feel the need to show anyone. Is getting angry at the store going to make my issue go away or is being calm and direct. The latter of course it dosent mean i wasnt angry. I use emotion when its needed. I never thought it has a weakness but i choose to control it. Although look out if i cant lol

lmao! i get this i do the same, made me especially laugh when you said even accents because i remember a time when my friend asked my "why the fuck are you speaking all african??!! O_o " .. haha geeks 😄

Lol @ dis wohn^^^. Btw i love accents too. I even answer my phone using different accents or languages, the hello and goodbye is always internation, lol. I also agree with the matching of speech, intellectual abilities, etc...i can go from retard to near genius in a split sec. Hahaha. I can even look brain dead if i want to...oh, the talent!
