Scorpios and Aquarians

I'm a Scorpio who has developed a HUGE crush on my Aquarian co-worker. He would always flirt with me but I'd always brush him off but he gave me a back rub yesterday that greatly excited me! LOL! Now I have a serious crush on Mr. Aquarius. The thing is, Scorpios and Aquarius are not supposed to be a good match. I honestly don't believe that because I've always gotten along with Aquarians. They're energy is so peaceful and warm. Aquarians are probably the only sign that doesn't hate on Scorpios all the time. So, Aquarian, what do you think about us Scorpios? And Aquarius men, what do you like in a woman? What do you think about Scorpio women?

Keep in mind that other placements in his chart (other than Aquarius) might help in how/why you get along with him and/or other Aquarians.

I personally like Scorpios. Yeah yeah yeah, I've heard all the hoopla about how we're not supposed to be compatible, BUT here's the thing...Scorps as friends vs. scorps as relationship-material are 2 different things.

I have alot of Scorpion friends. They're alot like me. They constant truth-seekers, they're guarded, cautious, suspicious & highly observant & intellectual like us Aquas. Scorps also form/have small tight-knit circles, which helps us in trusting them even more; this is b/c it's always easier for us to trust someone who takes friendship very seriously, vs. those who would rather have 500 "so so" friends than they would 1 or 2 really great friends. So for those reasons, we naturally click b/c birds of a feather flock together.

However, Scorps & Aquas are BOTH good at seeing straight through other people. Problem is, we can't stand it for someone else to be able to see straight through us b/c we like being the only 1's in an environment that is mysterious/hard to figure out. I think it highly bothers Scorps when Aquas make them aware that we can see straight through them. We aren't intimidated by Scorps. And if a Scorp's pride doesn't get in the way, the friendship/relationship can def. flow smoothly. BUT if a Scorp is dead-set on always being the "know it all," mysterious one or the 1 in charge, that's where problems can happen.

Scorpios are used to being the intellectually superior ones in their friendships/relationships. They like being the heros or the ones that everyone looks up to. Welp, Aquas take on the same titles too; Aquas are usually looked up to and/or are the "mysterious/deep" one in most situations. So when you get two of the same types of people & put them together, things will work out IF both signs are OK with neither 1 of them being the superior one, but instead seeing eachother as an equal.

BOTH signs have to be ok with that though.

If Scorp is looking for a more submissive partner or friend, they won't last long with us Aquas who refused to be caged in or told what to do. And if Aqua is looking for an intellectually inferior partner, they won't last long with Scorps b/c Scorps can def. "keep up."

This is somewhat true. I think you just feel more vulnerable when someone can see past your guards and bullshit. My aqua called me out on something the other week - a habit I have but don't realize I do it. I was actually shocked and impressed that he pinpointed my reasoning for doing it....as I never gave much thought to it.
