aries / gemini ignoring

so I met this gemini girl a long time ago. shes Gemini sun, Leo rising, Sagittarius moon with Venus in Gemini and Mars in cancer. we liked each other and talked for months without getting bored. after a while she sent me a msg saying that she had feelings for me but doesn't know how she's supposed to feel. I made a joke about it and told her that she's adorable, but I was to shy to tell her that I have indeed feelings for her too. few weeks after that she suddenly started to ignore me completely, and I did too because I didn't want to come off as clingy/needy. I started texting her after a month or so and everything went well until she, again, started to ignore me after one week.

now, I'm an aries sun, Capricorn rising, Scorpio moon. but I do have water signs in my charts (which is supposedly bad combination depending from what I've read here in the past) having Venus in Pisces and Mars in Aquarius. I feel sad, without letting anyone know of course and getting ignored obviously bugs any aries out. I know I should move on but it is hard
