Ever notice a difference between the three decans?

In personalities?

Yes:

The 1st decans usually have a Pisces response and way of going into a situation. I have seen these Aries do the lava swim (smoldering anger then done with the situation)

2nd decans It is a matter of how much of their chart is fire lateen as to whether they are calmer than expected. I knew an Aries with 5 planets in Leo and Sag Ascendant and they came off as very self absorbed when they meant to be humble earlier in life.

3rd Decans look like they are always rushing into situations to people who do not know them well. They can be blunt and bold but very stubborn, like their bull counterpart.

1st decan --- more individualistic, very much career-oriented, mind their own business. (comparatively), many "shy" Aries are from this decan, are generally serious although they might not look so.
2nd decan --- I knew only one..she was egotistical, but very sweet and a loyal friend
3rd decan --- social butterflies! Very amiable, tactful, funny, talkative, vivacious people.


These are based on my personal observations

I'm third decan, sounds like me! But my Leeb placements make me less tactful haha I'm a very social, loving Aries with a joie de vivre that I don't tend to see in first decans. I dated a first decan and we were total opposites in the way we communicate and operate, your observations on very accurate! He's very reserved, man a few words. I can appreciate that sometimes, but he ended up being too negative for me. The second decan is spot on as well, I know one that I positively CANNOT stand. She always gives me an evil eye, even though we've never really communicated or interacted. I can tell she's very egotistical and competitive. I've seen her sweet side, but she keeps a defensive coldness up far too often. I work better with fellow third decans and some first!

Yes, first definitely have a Piscean response to certain things, considering they're close to their fishy neighbor. 😛 As I said in my previous post, the second decans seem to be a bit egotistical and into themselves. But, I'm sure the people who know them have seen their softer side. I've just never really gotten close to one. They're too hard for me, I'm much softer.

I've been told I act too quickly without thinking yes lol I'm not that blunt but I can certainly be as stubborn as those bulls with certain things, yes. 😛

I wouldn't say that I'm shy... but I'm quite polite which may come across as timid sometimes, bit awkward at times. But then I have Cancer rising and Virgo moon so..

I know a lot of 3rd decans and I've found that they're a lot more charismatic than your average Aries, most of them very witty too.

I know a lot of 3rd decans and I've found that they're a lot more charismatic than your average Aries, most of them very witty too.

🙂 I much prefer first decan to second, that's for sure! You're kinder to people, from what I've seen. And not as loud! Which I like! lol

These are based on my personal observations

I'm 3rd decan but I behave more like 1st decan. Not really a social butterfly, I would try to avoid most social networking situations if I could. And extremely shy around new people.

As a third Decan myself, I'm only a social butterfly when I feel safe with you. So I get this. I'm very quiet when I don't feel like I can divulge my thoughts, my enthusiasm and who I am to certain personalities. I'm selective with who I'll allow to see my inner life. 😛
