I'm a Leo, but that's my Mars sign too. Generally, Mars shows us where we must put our energy and where we're required to take action. This planet is very happy when there are challenges and obstacles to overcome, so I'd say a person with a strong Mars definitely loves new conquests (unless you have harsh aspects on which you have to work hard on).
