Calling all moons in Aries! Post your thoughts, concerns, needs, issues, whatever suits your fancy.

Your Moon in sign describes your emotions. Especially your emotional
reactions. The sign your Moon is in gives a clue as to what you need to
feel emotionally secure and right within yourself.

Note: Moon in sign can be greatly modified by other indicators in an individuals chart.

Moon in Aries

A person with Moon in Aries has a strong need for action. They are very
impatient with other peoples emotions and even their own; they don't like
anything to slow them down. Because they think very quickly it can be
hard for them to pin down their thought processes. Often they act on
instinct, intuition or whim and can make instantaneous decisions.
Individuals with Moon in Aries like to do things their own way and are
very independent. Their tempers flare when they feel that someone is
trying to direct them, impose their opinion or tell them what to do; all
which makes them quite emotionally touchy sometimes! They often want
others to need them but it can be hard for them (emotionally) to fulfill that
need in others. Easily bored, they often start new projects and interests
but rarely finish them. They love the thrill of the chase in all things,
especially in matters of love. Aries Moon people are very idealistic
about love and can be surprisingly innocent and naive. They love all
the flowers and hearts of romance and are very good at both wooing and
being wooed.

I would like to say for the record... I am impatient. Can be rude with no ill intent, have a highly skilled imagination. I think my Aries gives me an edge in many things. It's a well placed shoe up my rear end, the rocket in my pocket. I get butterflies in the pit of my stomach and then it's that fast burn. I could do anything.
Yes, my temper flares quickly, but abates just as rapidly.
I want to claim someone, I want to be claimed. And I have no patience for middle of the road crap. Either you're with me, or you're not. And if you're mine I'll make damned good and sure the entire world knows it. And I expect the same.
Wishy washy irritates me to no end. Indecision makes me insane. I value honesty and quick wit. Cut the crap, cut the games. Blast it all to kingdom come and let the chips fall where they may.

Thank you. And now to bore you all with a bit of my *cough* poetry. Doodled one up on this very subject.

Aries Mine

Sparks.
Sweet breath blown on embers, gently.
Watching the ash fall back and reveal
Orange, red, gold, umber.
A bit of tinder and flash.
Butterflies taking flight in my belly,
Edged in bittersweet, cochineal, burnished
Wings unfurled and soaring.
Fire licking across my skin.
Heat, molten lava.
Blaze dancing on fingertips, boosting
The erratic tattoo of my heart.
To contain, or not?
To unleash the Fire within,
Or let it die back to powder.
Feel it grip me,
Demanding to claim,
To possess.
The desire for one such as I.
Steeped in power,
Reveling in the Inferno.
Fuego, Incendio, Feuer, Incendie, Brand.
My Aries.

LOL Exactly ladies. When really it's so simple it's daft. If you want, speak up. That would certainly get my damned attention. Ego, macho? Um, yes please. It takes someone STRONG to meet that Aries and make it say "Well hellooooo." Because roading over someone or not having respect for them cuts zero ice. I should hang a "Welcome Cave Man With Brain" sign on my front door. 😉

Simply because it is highly frustrating to dig someone and you think they're digging you...and then all of a sudden they take off like the hounds of hell are on your heels. Definitely understand what you mean though, and why I've taken the attitude that they're simply not strong enough for me in that regard. Or their Fire would meet mine and ignite. And no running, not a bit of it.

i can't relate to that bit about men running away.

i do enjoy a good chase and can be turned off by guys who pursue me too heavily (there's no prize to win when he's giving it away) but i think that's veering more into venus than the moon because venus for women deals with relations not the moon.

as far as emotions, overall, i do run hot as fast as i run cold. i'm rarely if EVER am *truly* angry. if i'm yelling or ranting, that's playful more than that is angry/hurt.

for me, i think aries is weird in that way. outwardly it looks like a firestorm and inwardly i'm just enjoying a good tussle.

if i'm *truly* hurt/angry, i actually become quieter and more sullen, not louder and more brash.

"It was dreadful. They tried to put the little redhead in a cage."
Sarah Ferguson, Moon in Aries

In the above quote, the Duchess of York was remarking on her life within the Royal Family. Poor little rich girl.

I don't have a great deal of sympathy for firey Moon's, in general. They attack life with gusto, to be sure, but the Aries Moon people can also be incredibly selfish. Everything tends to be Me First! with these people. And talk about rushing in where angels fear to tread.

I should try to be a little more objective. Having a Virgo Moon makes me a tad hyper-critical of everything and everyone. I just don't understand people with Moon's in elements other than earth. All Lunar placements are colored by, and react with, the native's Sun sign. Someone with both Sun and Moon in Aries is more apt to tend towards the volatile nature of an Aries Moon. The more planets a native has in Aries (Leo or Sagittarius too) the worse the negative side of the Moon placement becomes. If the Sun is in Pisces, they are more in tune with others needs and feelings. The Sun/Moon blend creates a better understanding of the nature of the Moon in any given sign.

People born with their Moon in Aries are emotionally aggressive. They usually respond to life as if it were an adventure. Life also tends to be one long emergency response with these people. They are good at setting up circumstances whereby they have to react rapidly to any given situation. They like living with an adrenaline rush.

Aries, being the first sign of the Zodiac, is associated with the infant stage of human development. If you think of a baby crying to have it's needs fulfilled, you can understand the Lunar Arian mindset a little better. You can also see why Aries are so often frustrated when they cannot get their needs fulfilled. Like a baby, they are at the mercy of others who control their fate. People with their Moon in Aries need to learn patience and cooperation. They also need to develop an inner sense of security. That aggressive emotionalism masks the fear that they will be ignored and their needs will go unfulfilled. It's very frightening to them. This is an innate fear and not even maturity will completely eradicate it.

These people are fiercely independent. They are also foolhardy. Again, that need for an adrenaline rush is ever-present in these people. They love danger and pushing the envelope. They do best in careers where they can be the leader. They are original, inventive but restless and lacking in follow-thru. They will be the first to volunteer for anything because they love to be in the forefront of activity but they don't usually think whatever it is they are doing through and can get themselves into trouble that way. Their mental impressions and reactions are very quick. They trust their sense perceptions of the given situation and then act immediately upon them without reflection. And don't try to talk them out of whatever it is they want to do. They resent advice and, if Mercury is also in Aries, they'll give you one heck of a tounge-lashing for interfering.

Lunar Arians are ambitious, pioneering and self-reliant. These are all excellent traits, especially in an emotionally mature person. People with their Moon in Aries need to learn disapline and patience; to understand advice offered is not always a criticism or an attempt to cage them; to ask for help when they get themselves into trouble.

Women with their Moon in Aries will seek partners who they can dominate. If the Moon is poorly aspected this can be extremely bad. Jealousy is also a serious problem with them. Men who have an Arian Moon look for women who are dominant and independent. Both sexes can come across as cold and impersonal because the ego needs to be fed to attract their attention. Once you gain their notice they can be very warm and affectionate.

got distracted. i liked the above because of this...

They resent advice and, if Mercury is also in Aries, they'll give you one heck of a tounge-lashing for interfering.

recently, was talking to my pisces about stuff and he volunteered some suggestions. the advice he gave was sound but that wasn't the point. i found myself resisting and becoming ever so slightly irritated. nothing explosive, just mildly irritated and i tried to not let it come through in my tone but eh, he probably picked up on it.

i loathe unsolicited commentary. it feels as if someone is trying to tell me what to do. or if they give advice and let's say i asked them about something specific and they do everything but answer my specific question, it annoys me.

i also would rather burn than ask for assistance. if i ask you for help and you start asking me how to do shit, i get annoyed and would rather go at it alone...which leads to a lot of frustration on my part but at the same time, at least i don't have to deal with stupid questions.

so overall, i need to work on becoming more receptive to help and togetherness which is so anti-aries in many ways.

Now isn't that interesting? I don't want to dominate, I want to BE dominated. At the very least a give and take situ. I did the flip side of it before. Not my cup of tea.

i think your personality is fairly aggressive in some aspects but at the same time, you have to look to your venus to determine what you really want and if that's in pisces then yeah, wanting a strong, centered, "come here woman" kinda guy makes perfect sense.

i wouldn't say i want to dominate my partner but i will damn sure try to (moon/venus/mars in aries). do i want him to cave though? yes and no. he has to give the "infant" what it wants but know when to draw the line.

see, i would playfully tell him to make his own damn sandwich and that i want mine with dijon mustard 🙂 and i wouldn't budge either. get in the kitchen and make me a sandwich! (did this with my virgo ex and complied).

around other fire signs or people with firey placements though, i wouldn't dare say the above...or at least i wouldn't mean it. i'd say it then immediately get up and start cooking. i think that's my taurus rationale coming out because unless i want a fight, i know when to put the matches away.

LOL I hear that. See now, the whole mental image of a man doing that in my mind, there is no malice behind it. Definitely masculine though, definitely knows how they tick. I'm not for being cowed in that manner, but an equal? Oh yes, better believe it. But someone not afraid to buck up and say "You're MY woman." Ummm hokay, yes I am. And someone not afraid to roar back at me when my temper flares, because I need that. Possessive? Bet your ass. I certainly am. And I have no problem with being at a mans side while they shimmer testosterone and 'back the fug UP' at other males. Not because I wouldn't be there glaring and doing the same, but because they are the MAN. And I expect that to a degree.
I do not want some foppish swain fluttering his wrist lace and looking at me all dewy eyed over some simpering poem. What I DO want is someone who can wipe the floor with someone else if need be, no questions asked. Not that the power is used, just knowing it's there is plenty good.
Emoting is fabulous, and therein that lines up with a man who knows himself really well. No namby pamby "Hmmm, do I want Rebecca, Katherine, Monica or Jane?" Erm, NO, I want YOU woman. Well giddyup pardner, because that tickles me all shades of pink, wanting YOU TOO.
Someone who sees and appreciates that I am not weak, because oh buddy, once the claiming commences there is little I wouldn't do for you.

And *curtsy*.

Moon in Aries
When you are relaxed and most yourself you are the burst of springtime, positive, life affirming, energetic .. a fireball in action! If others are asleep or out of focus, you push past them to the front of the line. You know what you want while others are still making up their minds (which you look at as wishy washy weakness)! You know what you want -- the lion??s share of life — and living — so if others don't belly up to the bar, you??ll gladly take their places as well, with no apologies. You are social Darwinism in action. You drink from the Fountain of Youth and will always shock people by how you disregard the concepts of aging, —settling down??, compromising and even the idea of —maturity??. You know what you want and you want what you want, when you want it! You??d be surprised how many people wander through life in a daze of confusion but you wouldn't be interested in them anyway!

Your mantra is, —Me. Here. Now.?? as the venerable astrologer Richard Idemon put it so succinctly. Of all people, you are the least introverted or self reflective. You live for the here and now and go instinctively for what you want, not giving a care to those around you unless they factor somehow into your scheme of things, for example, shoulders to stand on to get a better view. The only —team?? you??ve ever heard of is the Winning Team. If you want someone in particular, you court them mercilessly until they have no choice but to give in. Romantically, you are quite irresistible. You feel like life is for the fittest and you give the rest of us permission to be bold and vivid present tense! The words —what if?? and —but ??_?? don't exist in your vocabulary. Of all, you are least likely to be monogamous by nature or faithful by vow!
