Does anyone have this combination?

My best friend/ roommate of nearly 3 years does. For one, we are nearly inseparable. Incredibly close, almost twin-like. I love her to death. But we do have our differences (which I feel I'm probably more aware of than she is).

She often dominates conversations; as in, when there is a conversation going on, whether between a bunch of people or like three, she'll butt in before the person can really finish.

She's incredibly smart and very technical, but she lacks in the emotional department; at least, she has never truly showed emotion beyond what can obviously be picked out (like frustration, excitement, ect). This is what makes it hard for me to talk to her about things because I'm rather emotional. I always get the feeling that she can't really handle them.

This is unlike my other aries roommate who I can go to when I'm feeling upset, and she has her sun in aries and her moon in leo.

Going back to her being very logical, whenever someone makes a mistake that I suppose could have been common sense, she sometimes "talks down" to the person as if the mistake had been incredibly stupid.

She's a lovely person, but her dominant personality sometimes makes it hard for me, and I sometimes feel like I'm in the shadow, unless it's just us together. When it's just us, we make an immense pairing.

I guess some advice with how to deal with this? I'm a virgo sun/scorp moon btw.

not Aries, but I do have an Arian girl friend who's pretty much like that. She thrives on being in the limelight, not in a bad way altogether. It comes very naturally to her. People are just drawn to her animated speech and expressions. It used to get to me because as a Scorpio sun I sometimes dislike being overshadowed, lol. But I've learned to just sit back and relax, and let her run the show. It isn't all that bad, I'm content to just watch on. If I DO get tired of doing that, I just excuse myself and find something else to do instead. Have you tried pushing on with your line of conversation even after she's butted in? She might be unaware that you DO want to be heard as well. I've done this with my Aries girl friend, she actually didn't realize that I wasn't done yet. She just got too carried away, is all =)

First, Aries women get attention no matter what room we walk into. It doesn't matter what else is in the chart for it. People feel our energy and are drawn into our aura, even if we don't want them to be.

Aries with Gemini moon... will lack emotional depth. Will love to talk and is a great conversationalist, but more of a cerebral Aries.

Aries with Leo moon... more emotional. More stronger presence. If you feel threatened by these women or by being overshadowed by them, that isn't so much anything an Aries woman can help.

I'm actually not threatened by my aries/leo moon roommate; I sort of feed off her energy and she is usually the only one who notices when something has gone awry with me. We were having a heart-to-heart once, and she told me that she can tell when I am upset or sad or something of the like because she is very in tune with her emotions. I admitted to her that I can't talk to the other aries roommate because she wouldn't really understand, and the aries/leo moon agreed.

I think I feel overshadowed by the aries/gemini moon roommate because we are incredibly close.
