Watching American Gangster, I couldn’t help but see the similarities. Diddy didn’t just build an empire, he personified Frank Lucas. One of his aliases is even "Frank Black" and that’s not coincidence. Like Frank, Diddy moved with calculated control and power. That’s how he kept everything as "rumors" for so long. He mastered not just the business but the image, the fear and the myth.

Both men were feared. Both were known for explosive rage and not just behind closed doors but right out in the open, unafraid of who saw. That kind of audacity doesn’t survive without protection or power.

And astrologically? Frank had his Sun in Virgo. Diddy’s Mars is in Virgo. He is the enforcer, the one who acts strategically, calculating and efficient. The signs were always there and that's nothing to boast about.

Diddy's sex life (and his vengeful trait) though describes negative aspects of Sun in Scorpio.

Frank and Richie's conversation is spot on.

Richie: ...because apart from the fact that they hate you personally, they hate what you represent. Black businessman like you? You represent progress. The kind of progress that's gonna see them lose a lot of money. With you out of the way, everything can return to normal.

Frank: ...cause I got witnesses too. I got celebrities. I got sports figures. I got celebrities. I got Harlem, Richie. I took care of Harlem, so Harlem's gonna take care of me. You know what normal is to me, Richie? I ain't seen normal since I was six years old. Normal is seeing the police ride up to my house, dragging my little 12 year old cousin out and tying him to a pole, shoving a shotgun in his mouth so hard they bust his teeth. Then they bust two shotgun shells in his head and knock his fuckin' head off. That's what normal is to me. I didn't give a fuck about no police then.

----

I wonder who "Richie" is and the political/authority figures in the Diddy case.

Frank Lucas and Melvin Earl Combs had a close relationship (Diddy's dad was also in the drug trade). So i'm guessing, Diddy grew up in a hostile environment and perhaps this became his normal.
