I'll try to find some stuff from this thread:
https://www.dxpnet.com/opinion/astrology-houses/no-planets-in-7th-house-means-no-marriage-3748112/
***

This is from somewhere else:
Lack of planets in a house indicates an area that does not require our attention until some point of life when some transiting planets visit it.

Empty houses also relate to easy or latent karma, suggesting that the area of life represented is not a required subject in the present lifetime.

Many empty houses in a birth chart indicates that the person needs to concentrate just on one or two specific areas in life.

It doesn't work that way. If you have a sign in a house, and you have no planets under said sign, then take the sign's ruler and that will be the planet you have in your house.

... If there's many planet in the house that means many activity and if it's minimal it means minimal things to work out, so you're safe...

A good example for this is George Clooney.

It means you master marriage in a former life. Planets that are in houses means you need to master that house.

I'm interested in this subject cause I have several empty houses.

... I have an empty 5th house. My 6th, 7th and 8th houses are also empty. ... According to Jahlia's description, I would have sun in the 10th, moon in the 9th, and mercury in the 11th...

I don't know. I thought Jahlia's description would say you have Sun in 6th, Moon in 7th and Mercury in 8th house. Meaning you marry yourself and ... just kidding 😉

Let's see what CA writes about Sun in 7th house. Do you agree?
"You take pride in your ability to negotiate, and to establish harmony in your relationships. It is important to you to have a partner, as you feel incomplete without one. ... you do better in life when you undertake tasks with others rather than pursue them alone. ... eventual success in marriage. You should not hurry yourself nor let impatience get the better of you; ... likely to win every judgment or legal litigation..."

... lack of heavyweight karmic responsibilities... For example, an empty second house could mean that you don't have the burden of possessions on your shoulders. Similarly, an empty seventh house could indicate that your business relationships can be dealt with a sense of ease.

ok, I used what learned above to analyse my own empty houses. Whenever I had to check the effect of house ruler I used Cafeastrology. And almost everything is correct about me. Those in bold are already facts.

Empty 5th : I have no children. Other family members have. That must be enough.
Aries on cusp ~ Mars in V : pleasure/romance/sports/risk/games/entertainment/hobbyist/demonstrative/competitive
To do: Discipline. (otherwise: foolish adult, clinging to childish ways)

Empty 6th : I always enjoy good health.
Taurus on cusp ~ Venus in VI : doing practical things for a loved one. Selling myself short.

Empty 7th : Still not married to a Gemini type of person. 😢
Gemini on cusp ~ Mercury in VII : love of debate. devil's advocate. can keep a partnership animated/alive.
To do: avoid overanalyzing in your relationships!

Empty 9th : empty is ok. Am I not enough wasted with engergies of 9th house?
Leo on cusp ~ Sun in H9 : tolerant/adventurous/curious. thirst for learning. acquire knowledge from different cultures or in foreign lands. flair for languages. valuable as translator. academic degree. function as teacher. touching the lives of others.
To do : avoid self-righteousness in your enthusiasm to share your knowledge.

Empty 11th :
Libra on cusp ~ Venus in H/11 : genuine friendship needed for relationship. You focus on a person's unique qualities. unconventional. attractive calves and ankles. jump into friendships without considering the responsibilities they might entail.

empty houses are a beautiful thing 🙂

in a nutshell, you have no karmic energy from past lives that you have to reconcile.....so, they are essentially all inclusive getaway vacations where everything is paid for in advance and you just have to enjoy yourself. 😄

it's those houses that have planets in them that you have to be concerned about.

also, when having empty houses, be aware of those you surround yourself with because they can try to put their baggage in your empty house for storage (like how my relatives try to store their shit in my basement).

I have an empty 7th house (relationship house) and I've had some difficult relationships in the past that consisted of others who had a full 7th house.....and instead of dealing with their own shit, they projected it on to me. Being I'm full of 12th house and Libra energy....I would take that on as if it were my responsibility.

It's much easier dealing with someone who also has an empty 7th house....you can just simply enjoy the relationship.

Another example....is I have some planets in my first house and my partner's first house is empty....I've found myself projecting that 1st house energy on him and have to occasionally step back and knock it off!

god that makes so much sense. The CLUE-IN to me awhile back was Pluto in the 7th people attracted to Plutonians (whether sun in scorpio or strong stellium/8th housers) so it is SIMILAR to those people with a packed 7th house wanting a relationship with those to help them with their "issues" in this lifetime. Ugh. wow. just thinking about it makes me have a headache. I saw the patterns in those with pluto 7th housers. then it clicked to me...hmmm.

Interesting. Can you say your sons are easy? I mean nothing difficult about them? Like one is autist or things like that?

@capigoral,

for such moments "hide" feature is very useful.

Look, I was so dumb and blind busy with verfication of Astrology claims that I forgot we are people and have our hurts. You give me the impression you will forgive me for my mechanical approach. At least I hope so.

So far I think I understand this from your posts:
In your natal chart the 5th house was empty.
In your relocation chart Cap is in the 5th house and so a few planets.

Did I get it right?

I worded that so wrong! I meant;that's the ruling planet rules that house, but it's not in . Have you ever looked into ruler of the houses?

Jahlia, let us discuss it by an example.

My 5th house is empty.
This house is in the sign of Leo.
Leo is ruled by Sun.
My Sun in in my 1st house.

So here is the question:
to elaborate the effect of the 5th house (on my life, character traits etc.), do I read texts about
1. Sun in 5th or
2. Sun in 1st?

Do you have an opinion of your own about empty houses?

Like empty 5th house would mean you'd have no children. Or stuff like that.

I have no 5th and I want a bunch of kids 🙂

But its not totally empty since my "true node" is in this house.

I have also 8, 9 and 10 empty but 10 has MC, so it sums to 8 and 9. But the sign there, with nothing at a house is Capricorn 🙂 The love of my life is Capricorn, also the missing part of one of my t-squares.

So for me empty houses means needs some part you need to acomplish, since you dont have them you search that in other person to complemente you. Thats why we need another person after all!
