Yes, they are both Water houses.
Jupiter in 8th activates Scorpio energy, while your moon in twelfth activates Pisces - the moon in twelfth is not easy to deal with as it results in a great deal of vulnerability.
Google "Jupiter in the eighth house" and "Moon in the twelfth house" - you'll see that your emotions consuming you is part of your chart.
These houses deal a great deal with transformation and rejuvenation, so you will find that the way you deal with emotionally traumatic events is to almost metaphorically die and be re-born again, stronger and wiser.
It's tough but well worth the learning process - you can have a greater sense of self-awareness than most people within your cycles of death and re-birth.
My eighth house is a huge influence in my chart, so trust me I know how you feel.

Posted by YellowSubmarineOh my gosh, YES! I can totally understand these influence now. And it's interesting that you say that the way I deal with emotional events is like a rebirth -- absolutely. Every traumatic event, relationship, etc. I move through the process thoroughly, as if I'm enveloped by it. And I feel a great change when I emerge, I do indeed feel stronger. Granted, reminding myself of certain events and junctures in my life can make those emotions resurface as well as lingering resentments. But I know that I did experience a 'rebirth' with these events and the magnitude of their impact is much more clear to me now. Thank you for this explanation!!

Posted by lisabethur8Supreme way of imagining it! I feel those emotions so deeply because of the water, and I'm able to communicate those feelings because of the fact that they're air placements within the water domains. Perfect, thank you. Makes complete sense! BUBBLESSSS!! My bubblesPosted by xomelindabelleyeah but because they are in "air" you would still "analyze" and talk about feelings.Posted by YellowSubmarineOh my gosh, YES! Someone recently told me that my moon is in my twelfth house and my jupiter is in the eighth; both water domains, correct?
Would you say that has a great influence on the way I deal with my emotions?
