Scared to travel alone...

I decided to go skiing next week, i realised it was the day of my mars return, that i made the decision. Also, the last day of the week i go skiing, the sun will conjunct my venus, and venus will conjunct my mars! Is this meant to be?
Here's my problem though, these things are ALL in my 8th house...it means its out of my control, right? Im being pushed into this. And as a guy who has a lot of enemies...im not sure its a good thing. I think im putting myself in danger.

Hm...those things are scorpio, not 8th house...the DKfoundation explains it well, the house placement is like the receiving end, to a median or large extent... All my life ive been a puppet, i dont feel like ive ever had power in anything. Im at the MERCY of everything...4 personal planets in 8th.
