2008--bad year for the whole zodiac—

Hello everyone! Okay, I know this sounds like a bit of a polarised topic, but my friend and I were discussing astrology this morning. She is very big on Chinese astrology. She told me that, apparently, according to the Chinese predictions for the year, 2008 is seen to be an inauspicious year, where the whole of the zodiac will be experiencing hardships and difficulties. Does anyone know anything about this? I have been reading the annual forecasts for my sign (Libran) and according to many of the astrologers, Librans are going to be experiencing something of a 'gap year'--yuck. Having said that, I don't think our fate is resigned to the positioning of the stars, no matter how much I believe in astrology. Any feedback on this guys and gals?

well i had a bad year last year all the retrogrades affected me,so i do believe in the planetery line ups

these people who earn a living out of predictions are only trying to take advantage of human anxiety and fear. These losers are the ones who are to be blamed for the decline of astrology as a subject and being labeled as pseudoscience. Most times predictions create placebo effect on human brain. The moment our future is predicted and becomes conscious knowledge, its automatically changed bcoz of change in brain activities due to unwanted information.

Planets just influence and the power is all ours, we decide what's the final product with our choices.

2008 is a good year for everyone

Uranus was doing some pretty weird things in /07 -ended about Jan 10th of this year; so '08 will generally be a better year for all.
