This is a post house placements. I was under the impression that house placements built upon a pattern. Meaning, by the time you get to House 12, you naturally end in Pisces. Well I finally thought to pay attention to other people's charts and I'm in SHOCK! Your houses are different from my houses. My houses are far more predictable. WHAT DAT MEAN!?

Mine goes....

House III in Gemini
House IV in Cancer
House V in Leo
House VI in Virgo
House IX in Sagittarius
House X in Capricorn
House XI in Aquarius
House XII in Pisces

so with the exception of houses I, II, VII, VIII, all of my houses are in the signs they're supposed to be in. i imagine that if they were all lined up correctly that my chart would form that uber-cool hexagonial star shaped thingy?

i know that no one is going to be able to answer this but i was wondering if anyone else had a similar house alignment?

*I know what you're talking about, ts.. i have a similiar house alignment, myself ...

First, i have Intercepted Houses in my natal chart, which means i've got a double dose of Gemini (2nd, 3rd) and Sagittarian (8th, 9th) homes, with NO "formal" Aries/Libra house. These houses still exist, but are very small & rather hidden. Strangely these "house interceptions" have caused an "almost" perfect aries-to-pisces alignment. Only an Aries Riser with NO house interceptions would have ALL 12 houses in their perfect "natural" order.

And though I am a Taurus Riser, & excluding my 2 angular homes of (1st/7th), the rest do follow the EXACT same pattern as an Aries Riser. So, when i'm reading about my planetary transits, i have to be careful and include BOTH rising signs.

HOUSES (and any "planets" that reside within) that DO follow the natural "zodiac pattern" ARE given "MUCH" extra strength and influence, since the sign on the house cusp follows that natural aries/pisces order.

It's kind of like "domal dignity", where a planet is positioned in the "sign" it rules ..

..So with planets in leo, the strongest and most natural or (dignified) house "would" be its "natural" 5th. Planets in Aquarius fit best in the 11th, planets in Pisces in the 12th, and so on and so on.

eg; for myself: gemini (2nd) cancer (4th) Leo (5th) virgo (6th) Sag (9th) Cap (10th) Aqua (11th) Pisces (12)

**
..of course, there are many other important factors in astrology that can "greatly" strengthen houses & planets.

yeah, that's sorta what i meant. ian's is in order but i was more talking about....

house 1/asc = aries
house 2 = taurus
house 3 = gemini
and so on...

i thought maybe if it followed the order above that it would impact the chart in some way but that doesn't make sense. i think you're right it strengthens things but i'm not clear as to how? so i'm a bit confused.

are you saying that having a house-sign follow the natural order (house 1 - aries...house 12 - pisces) strengthens the planet within that house...no matter what the planet is? OR

are you saying that having a planet appear within it's associated house-sign strengthens it? i.e. mars in house 1, sun in house 5?
