Fortunately or Unfortunately I have no experience in a Cancer/Libra relationship. I chose the harder folks like Aries, Scorpio, and Last but not Least Taurus. My Scorpio, will last me the rest of his life anyway!!!

Candle Girl I will miss you, as I already feel like we have a common thread between us. As Parallax said "Nobody holds a candle to you Candle Girl". Buck up phoenix rising, I know I am no Candle Girl but I will try to fill in the spaces a little. I agree with Candle Girl, Parallax your response was so creative and on target. It did help me understand a little better about my sweet cancer mate, You carry a mighty pen. Being with him has been a little slice of heaven, yet frustrating sometimes as well. He is so hard to read, due to being so changeable in mood. One thing I do know about cancers is that they think the other person should be able to read their minds. Therefore knowing exactly what they wish at any given moment. We all know how far we can throw that one lol. Ah yes, Duncanville is fast becoming my second home. If I am on target you are 100 % right in your assessment of the cancerian crazy moonlove, and there is no turning back I agree. Once you have experienced it, no other can compare. well im a cancer trying to break up with a libra, for the secound time. shes very persistant in a dramatic way.

my problems with my libra:

low energy-lazy

something is all ways wrong with her(physically)

selfish

deceptive(doesnt mean shes doing anything wrong-just the way she goes about it)

very dependant

married and divorced twice already

racked up 50grand in debt with last loser husband(bad with money)of course her parents paid most of it off.

i pay for everything which makes me feel used

i make 4 times as much money as she does and she never asks me about my work or what im doing, shes too busy talking about her work and all the gossip i dont care about. very one-sided

well im sure theres more but i cant think about it at the moment and im sure she could write out a list too about me(just to be fair)

Great answer Parallax-I will take it to heart. I guess that means I must be special as we have been together for over two years. I do Love him so very much! The moon love thing pretty much gave it away. Yes there is drama and his moods sway on a grand canyon scale. But I still find there are many more good things as compared to bad from this association. Aw cj7 don't despair, there was no offense taken. No one truly likes mood swings. Let me clarify things by saying that the changes in mood are fleeting and pass quickly. More like waking up on the wrong side of the bed, it fades as quickly as it came. He always gives an appology and tries not to repeat it. 95% of the time he is the most loving and adoring mate anyone could hope for. I am sorry that you have had the experience with your Libra that you have. All I can say is that no two Libras are alike, and maybe someday you will come to know this. Try to see what you can take from the experience and learn from it. We can always grow from the relationships in our life if we just reflect on them awhile. I expected no roses to be thrown. Hope you are feeling better soon.

it wasnt all bad, i do still care about her, which makes it harder. i know this is the right decision though. it might seem like it but i dont hate libras, my sister is a libra and we get along great.

its a complex situation, as people are very complex. my last ex was so convinced that i was the one, now shes happily married and with a better match for her. i dont think anybody seems to know what they want or why they want it.

cj7, You sound like the kind of person who is sensitive to hurting other peoples feelings. It sounds like you are going through just as much as she must be. Libra's do not take rejection well in a situation like this. Just try to remember that we spend alot of time analyzing things. The kindest thing you can do is to talk to your Libra, and try to help her understand why the two of you must part. First remember that it does no one any good to list the negatives about any relationship. Being the diplomats that we are, even if we dont love someone anymore we try to find a way to break it off leaving the other person as intact as we can. You can give many reasons why this has happened, but be most careful about being to honest in your communication. (I mean do not share some of the things with her that you shared with us) There is no need to further hurt anyone by doing that. There is someone out there for both of you, that will be a more compatibale match. Try to point out the differences between you that you feel could not be worked around. That way the Libra can walk away not feeling like most of the fault lies with her. And the two of you most likely will be able to remain friends in time. Anyway think about it, this has always worked well for me. I do hope you feel better soon, and can find a reason to smile again. So sorry you are feeling so bad about having to do what you must. well, as if being a cancer wasnt enough emotion, someone decided it would be funny to add more with a moon in pisces. i dont like to see people in pain, i can feel it myself. i havent talked to her in a week, and even then it was just for her to call and wish me a happy birthday. i just try not to think about the whole situation. im sure we will both be ok. eventually. 🙂

cj7 ya know the thing my mom always told me is that "time heals all wounds" and that in time this will pass. It was a correct observation, but hard to accept at the time. She was always right though life does goes on, Leaving us older and wiser. I will say this much for the cancer in my life though. When he came to tell me that we were not to be together anymore, but could be friends. I already knew things were over. I could not help myself and cried (something I hate to do in front of anyone). He pulled me close and I laid my head in his lap so he would not see the tears. This made me cry harder though. He stroked my hair and told me how sorry he was. By the time things were concluded he cried with me and for me. I had never experienced anyone showing such tenderness and concern for my feelings. I told him I cried partly because I could see in his eyes the agony he was going through from having to cause me such pain. (as he knew I still loved him so very much). He said he stayed away for the two weeks prior to the break up in hopes that he would miss me, he did not. He was trying to find a way to avoid the breakup. There are things I will never forget about this man that are intence memories still. He is the same one I am back with today after almost two years. So many do not understand just how wonderful cancers can be. When he smiles at me his entire face shows a happiness and warmth,and light dances in his eyes. Anyway I must go it is late. she has sag rising, which when we are dealing with people, shes playful with everyone and im conservative. when were doing something together, i become playful and she becomes the conservative one. aarrrgghhh. it so unsettling.lol
