Are you a Libra or involved with one?

My 1st love was with a Libra male & I must say, the relationship was absolutely fulfilling in the beginning.

We could talk about anything & he wouldn't make me feel "weird" or "boring" just b/c I had the constant urge to talk or conversate about unique & different things that were outside of the norm. He didn't keep alot of secrets from me; he never shut me out even when we really wanted to. He had a good way of having a bad day & making sure he didn't drag me down with him. He was never too clingy, but yet made it known in his own way that he needed me bad.

But yet, when the relationship started going sour, he could never make up his mind. One minute, his priority was me, & the next he was always claiming he had a different revelation. He started to shut down emotionally from others & stopped having interest in the things that he normally used to love. It's almost like he changed into a different person & made it so that I couldn't possibly have 1 ounce of trust or respect left for him.

Overall, when the relationship was going smoothly, it was wonderful & very satisfying, but when it went sour, it REALLY went sour!

"Though, anyone who has been loved by a Libra should consider themselves LUCKY"

Exactly. The thing is, each relationship a Libra gets into (regardless of how painful their last relationship ended), they put their entire hearts into it, every single time. Sometimes Libras move on too quickly from their last relationships & while others are skeptical that their "new flame" will last, Libras always prove everyone wrong. I don't know how they do it so naturally, but Libras put their entire hearts & souls into each person they invest in & when the tide is smooth, it's like they base their entire life on that one person. But the minute things go wrong, it's like that Libra turns into the complete opposite & leaves everybody left behind sad, confused & feeling like they "lost a great thing" while all the while the "new flame" gets the same "WOW" feeling that Libra gave the others.

Libras have a way of sweeping people off their feet & sometimes when the outsiders think it's just "puppy love" those very same Libras are sitting in the corner REALLY convincing themselves that it's the "real deal this time." When me & my 1st love broke up, he couldn't stop talking to me no matter how hard he tried. Then all of the sudden he met another woman just 2 months later & ended up marrying her. I used to be so bitter & assume that since he moved on too quick, he what we had when we were together was either fake or that I must've done something SO BAD to make him run into the arms of another woman. But now looking back, that's just in their nature. They can move on & love each new person even more than the last & not even see a single problem with it. Sure, they have their insecurities like everyone else but LOVE is their goal & they let NO ONE stop them from receiving it or giving it

And sometimes I just want to run & tell their next woman/man to run like hell but then again, I don't b/c I know that atleast they actually love the next one, even if in my eyes it seems like it happend too fast.

Sometimes I don't know whether it's a good OR a bad thing that Libras will let NO ONE stop them from receiving or giving love. One minute it's like winning gold when you have that Libra in your life, but the next minute it becomes the end of the world when you find yourself being the "ex" and seeing that same Libra that worshipped you, walk off into the sunset with someone else as if those in their past never existed

I think what happens is, Libras are so afraid of losing what they invested in so they try to supress their natural need to meet new people & to constantly have varieties of new people in their lives. They give all of that up just to please their partners. And that explains why when a relationship ends, that Libra jumps ships, comes back to their old self & runs so quickly in the arms of someone else, sometimes w/o even having the time to heal or fully take in what happend to make their last relationship end.

That's alot of the reason why I think Libras have such a problem with decision making. When they are forced to make a deal or no deal decision, they are uncomfortable b/c it FORCES them to think about themselves for a change & since they are so used to living off of the happiness of other people, it's almost like they can't function the same. One minute, they worship the ground their partners walk on, regardless of how much of their true selves they are really giving up just to keep that person. And the next minute (once the relationship ends) it's like they all of the sudden break free from those "no new people" chains & turn into the complete opposite of who they were when they were in the relationship.

And even some Libras don't even understand why they do this, so it's no wonder half of us are always left confused, resentful & bitter. The ones who got left behind have all the time in the world to sit back, reflect & heal, but the Libras who left us high & dry got into a new "love" so quickly almost as if they did it so that they wouldn't have to go through that process (bitter, healing, resentment, confusion) they left their ex's going through.

Haha what can I say....

I dont jump from relationship to relationship with men but that's because I'm very selective on the person that I would choose to go out with and that must be a good thing if as you say "you are the chosen one" And yes I definitely pour my everything into a relationship adopting the other persons interests so that we can enjoy things together within reason. If I hated it I wouldn't bother. Is that such a bad thing?

From experience with my gf's I have noticed that I will jump from friend to friend as it suits me and what I get back from them. And I have noticed that the other friends will miss my company as I'm not around as much, as I move on because they got alot from me & my friendship. In my circumstance it is more that most of my friends have partners so therefore being a third wheel is fun for awhile but ultimately we want to go different places etc. I dont drop them completely but just share myself around. Too much fun to be found out there!🙂

I'd liken that to what you see a Libra doing in a relationship, if you aren't fulfilling them for any reason whether it be your choice(which I felt may have been the case Kry) then eventually if someone else comes their way of interest then they will take up that opportunity...Wouldn't anyone— Yes it could be a quick transition but how often does someone that grabs your attention really come along— Last year I had 2 guys at once that i was interested in and that created such dilemma in my life!! WTF and then I'll go for another 10 months or more with NOTHING!

But i dont think he did it intentionally to hurt you, we just want to be happy ourselves as most people do. There is nothing worst than the end of a once beautiful union and all the feelings this stirs up! So what better way to heel than with someone new?

AND that would only happen if it is made perfectly clear that the relationship is over!

i am in a long term relationship with a libra. we've been together for alil over a year and a half.

how i deal with him?? communication and lots of it. we discuss what bothers us daily and we both work towards a goal to fix that which bothers us. we argue, but we agree to disagree. normally what bothers us isn't each other. it's normally outside influences. so, as long as we realize not to take each other's anger personally, we are fine.

Sweetsherrie, you need to move on, sometimes you never find out the why's because they dont want to go down that path with you because they know that they cant give you the answer you are looking for and it hurts a Librian more to hurt someone else.

Hold your head up high and know that it wasn't anything you did but rather it just wasn't working between the 2 of you and it really doesn't matter for what reason. You cant go back so go forward and there will be something and someone better around the corner!
