Can astrology help a relationship

Is it possible that astrology holds the key to making "unworkable" relationships workable. I thought about me and my best girlfriends charts and we are so incompatible. But since I've taken an interest in astrology I feel like I understand her better & although I still hate some of her ways, I think my new understanding has made for a smoother run for us.
Do you all think that understanding a persons chart & your own you can make a romantic relationship work even if the stars say you're not "meant to be"?

You can't use astrology to make a relationship work. You can allow astrology to assist you in understanding someone, but you can't use it to manipulate.

Astrology compatibility reports might tell you some problem areas you are likely to have so that you're prepared and can work through those areas. But like Tiz said, if two people work together with each other you can make any relationship work. This is where astrology comes in handy because you can take the perspective of "well, they don't mean it personally, they're just wired that way" and you don't take offense at their quirks.

I suspect there are some people (more likely women) who try to be what they think the guy's birth chart says they want. This could never work in the long run because you can't be who you're not for very long.
