guys who is the ruler of seventh house? or

how do I find it?

I have gemini in seventh house does that mean mercury is the ruler of my 7th house?

Check your chart. Look for the seventh house. Look for the sign that your seventh house begins with.

Your on track. Look at the sign on the cusp of the 7th house. Find the planet(s) that belong to that sign.

Aries - find the house and sign mars is in
Taurus - " " Venus "
Gemini - " " Mercury
Cancer - Moon
Leo - Sun
Virgo - Mercury
Libra - Venus
Scorpio - Pluto and mars
Sagittarius - Jupiter
Capricorn - Saturn
Aquarius - Uranus & Saturn
Pisces - Neptune

If there are any planets in the 7th they will have a strong effect on the "partnership energy" you draw to yourself. If the 7th is empty then the ruler of the 7th comes more into play.

For example if you are a Sagittarius rising with no planets in the 7th you look for the sign and house of mercury - because Gemini is on the 7th house cusp. If mercury is in Virgo in the 10th house you will probably find a partner (7th) through your career (10th).

Oh the 7th house. I've got one placement there and it's Jupiter in Sagittarius.

You are a Sagittarius rising, so Gemini is on the 7th house cusp. We look for mercury - mercury is in Cancer in the 7th house. So the 7th ruler is in the 7th house. You will have control over your 'unions'. And venus is in the 6th or 7th house in Gemini. The sun is in Cancer in the 8th? You will have a very strong desire for partnerships. They will be a big focus in your life. The 7th house is connected to the 8th house. So your 7th house unions will lead naturally into 8th house stuff. In other words, you will want to build a life around 'the other'.
