his behaviour confuses me..Help..

i know a guy from past 3 years.we started as friends and it was great, he is witty, friendly and caring..both of us liked each other.in starting things were pretty amazing and dream like.but maybe things weren't supposed to be like that..now he acts strange he withdraws himself when i need him the most.i always thought things are pretty clear among us.we love each other but he is always afraid of accepting the relationship.he is Venus in Gemini, Cancer Sun and Aries Moon. his behaviour confuses me at times he tells he love me and even show how much he care but everything just scatters when he puts a question mark to our relationship.is this because of his chart placements. i am new to astrology help needed..thanx anyway..🙂
