Pet Peeves and Mercury

I have some very distinct pet peeves. There are certain things that will invoke my Mars energy a lot quicker than others and I'm finding that many of my pet peeves are dictated by Mercury.

So if you have a moment, please state your pet peeves and mercury sign. I'm wondering if others have this correlation as well.

that is my #1 pet peeve too, but we don't share a mercury and i think that pet peeve is more inclined to mine than Mercury in Scorpio.

so upon more reflection, i'm finding that based on the descriptions ^, the mercury signs i clash with most are in my complimentary element.

in other words, if my mercury were in water, i clash with "underdeveloped" earth people more so than i do with "underdeveloped" earth folk.

the "underdeveloped" earth folk still get on my nerves, but not nearly as much as the "underdeveloped" water do. and what's funny is, i can look at the "underdeveloped" list for "earth"/"water" mercury folk and guaranteed, my pet peeves/strengths are within those respective lists.

conversely, if i look at mercury in sag/leo for example (fire), none of the "underdeveloped" traits bother me. they should, but the dont.

underdeveloped leo says for example:

Interestingly, all those Mercury in Leo traits describe me almost perfectly. I'm a work in progress.

so based on what an "underdeveloped" mercury in leo says, a person with this placement is bastard and clearly that type of personality would rub anyone the wrong way.

the funny thing is, none of those "underdeveloped" traits bother me and i can say the same for most mercury fire/air placements.

i just wonder why the "underdeveloped" traits for mercury in water/earth irk me most.

i surprisingly do not communicate well with merc in pisces. cant stand it actually.

People who lack the ability to communicate themselves clearly and concisely tend to irritate the shit out of me.

Like my old boss who would send an e-mail with a couple sentences of utter gibberish and expect you to just "get" what it was she was trying to say.

I also seriously hate people who are messy and lazy. If you know you need to do something just do it FFS!

When you ask someone to do something for you and they say yes but then they don't do it, or take ages to do it. And then you have to remind them. That fucking pisses me off.

Hmm that is interesting. I'm going to have to check out Mercury in a few families/friends chart and see if this rings true.

i'm not vague. i'm "concise" and agree, i do assume that i'm understood because i tend to default to the "it's common sense" argument which means that things i should discuss/explain in detail, i dont. i assume they should know and when they don't, i can get irritated OR pissed off for not having taken the time to break things down and mad because i have to break things down 😛

and that's true.

you typically have to pull teeth with mercury in water signs. they can be talkative and very expressive depending, but there is a lack of predictability/consistency with them. it's like you know they have thoughts, but getting them to share and express them in a way that makes sense sometimes takes a couch and some drawn shades.

The older I get the less things bother me. But still have some pet peeves, like:
- Parents that allow their children to throw tantrums in public
- Fake people that say rubish in your back
- People that beat around the bush. Get to the point already. Stop playing games.

Back biting and telling me to keep a secret I dont wmt to hear it.

People who get into one argument and think you dont like them.
People who assume just because you never talked to them you hate them.
People who assume what you say is the real you like if you say im about to kill everybody they take take it literal.

The list for Cap mercury extends.

They mostly revolve around physical quirks, particularly those dealing with the mouth.

For instance, people with those protruding lower jaws (forget what its called). Whenever they speak, I want them to die lol

Or my sissy, for example. She has this thing where she squeezes her lips together incessantly, and it makes me want to fight her like a bitch in the street. urrgghh

Or the LL Cool J types who lick their lips after after every sentence.

Heavy breathers. Snoring can also make me contemplate murder.

Any unusual noise made while eating.

Stupid laughs can make me hate you.

Idk, I'm pretty accepting, and I actually enjoy personality quirks...but anything dealing with your weirdo bodily functions...

i almost want to say poor spelling, but a lot of people that i know who are really smart otherwise, unfortunately are crap spellers. 😢 i feel badly for them, but have to look past because they're so brilliant otherwise. .... grrrr but i still notice it!!

these two phrases, "at the end of the day (insert deflated thought)" & "it is what it is" ya, no shit? ... I've noticed that if someone uses either of these two phrases, they do it ad nauseam. nobody who uses these phrases ever say it just sometimes.

not signaling a turn or lane change, it only really bothers me when i see it almost cause an accident, but really it always has that potential.
also, running reds... this can kill people... all because someone didnt want to get caught at an intersection... selfish f*cks.

yelling into the receiver of your cell to whoever you're on the phone with, but then whispering to the people in front of your face that you're interacting with.

when a guy gets butt hurt because you didnt go for their pick up.

slow and long lines ... this is beyond a pet peeve. it's more like a nightmare. i've left entire shopping carts of stuff because i couldnt handle the idiotically long check out lines. i figure im making it someone's lucky day who wanted to do the exact same shopping. lol

Yes. Add an incompetent cashier, and only 2 on duty when there are 15 other available lanes, meanwhile 6 other associates are working the floor when they should be on the fuckng registers, and I'm ready to raise hell.

I hate everything.
Just kidding. But, not really.
Everything I dislike, I dislike to the same degree as anyone else would. Some things that have been annoying me lately, though:
Lack of simple manners. Ex: Place your money in my hands not on the counter, put the merchandise back where you got it, check the prices before you throw shit on the counter.
Lack of effort/lazy. If you want to know where things are, look for them yourself.
Kids/Lack of discipline in kids. If your kid is screaming and kicking things, why would you give them what they want and not do anything about it? Kids are just plain annoying in general.
Wearing sloppy clothes. Going out in public without a bra...wearing a bathing suit to an amusement park (there's only 3 water rides, people!) when you're 100 pounds over weight...what...

I don't even know if all that even counts, but I do know that I'm angry from just thinking about those things.

When a vid keeps cycling for days.

When someone says "Call any time you need anything!" and then gives excuse why they cannot.

Any dipshit parenting technique: kids bouncing round in moving vehicle. In a running car outside a shop. Giving them 500 choices when they should be given two. When they sit there weary while Junior is being a shit berry. Letting their kids run riot in a public place or making a huge mess.
