How do you deal or use Neptune in the 7th?

I have Neptune in the 7th and it's square with my Sun and Venus in the 11th. Does this give me a more Piscean personality rather than Aries one? Someone told me that about my Mars in Gemini in the 12th, so I wondered if the Neptune magnified it by 1000.

Anyway, do you tend to attract deceitful or fuzzy romantics who are a bit blind to the reality of the world? Poets? Film makers? Share your stories about Neptune in the 7th so I can better understand this placement. 🙂

I can relate to your concern and it's real

you can watch out for:
-unconsciously playing redeemer (attracting victims of life that need saving from alcohol or drugs, people who end up abusing you financially or in any other way). The quality I like the most in Aries is their courage to fight for the underdog. With a strong Neptune, the Aries vision and judgement of personality can be blurred.

- when we have a planet in a house we basically meet that God. With Neptune in 7th you meet Neptune through the generic "other", the one on one partner (or enemy). You idealize the partner, idealize the containing, healing, heavenly powers of the partnership. Or attract people who will parent you, who either become all consuming, or you can ask from them to be perfect. A Venus-Neptune lover has a hard time accepting the partner's faults; that includes physical flaws, aging, etc.

- we tend to project the planet in the planet in the first part of our lives. The Neptune longing for redemption is hard to spot if you don't know astrology, so you can enter a painful, enormously disappointing string of relationships without seeing the deep mechanism at work in your approach to them.

Liz Greene's Neptune book is an exceptional book that can definitely guide you. I honestly don't know if one can understand Neptune without reading it.

Wow. I'm really blown away by the accuracy of this and also just how BIG of a role it's played in my life. For one, I also have Saturn and Uranus in my 7th house. Neptune didn't bother me because it's effects were so subtle. I do tend to meet and attract people I have more of an intuitive bond with (or perhaps I'm idealizing it?!) rather than a friendship or relationship that's built on common interests. My first and only boyfriend so far entered the relationship bisexual (which I couldn't handle that like I thought, so it was a year-long friendship instead) and exited gay. He had a problem with drugs and alcohol, and was all consuming. Knowing him was like being in a time warp. I've also tried online dating but they ended up too weird and not on my "level" really. Most recently I was talking to a Gemini, only to find out he had a record and even then I smoothed it over thinking "But that was in the past. It only matters what he does since he met me." Face-palm. That's totally Neptune talking! I've heard great things about Liz Greene but whenever I try to read her works I find her very verbose. I'll keep trying though. One thing I don't understand is I can so clearly see other people's character who are not involved directly with me. Why is it once I make contact with them that my judgment becomes impaired?

Well, with 3 planets in the 7th house it's very useful to just admit that your relationships may just be out of the norm and just be cool with it. Saturn in 7th is either critical of partners or attracts a partner that's less tolerant towards our own faults. Uranus in 7th brings unusual partnerships, however shape and form they may take. With you being an Aries with a 12th house Mars, doing yoga, meditating, taking time to reflect and apply the Mars energy in a correct manner will help enormously. you'll tend to forget that so pls try to remember.
I don't know what you read from Liz, but give Neptune a chance 🙂
