In general, a Kite is an aspect configuration that starts with a triangular aspect figure (e.g., usually a Grand Trine or Yod). A fourth planet makes an opposition to one of these planets, forming a symmetrical figure. The opposition forms the "spine" of the kite.

The fourth planet can act as a grounding principle, kind of like a lightning rod channels lightning energy into the ground. The opposition aspect often brings conflict, polarization, disagreement and stress, although it is also dynamic and motivating. It is a challenge to be triumphed; a problem to be solved; a disagreement to be negotiated.

Some astrologers believe that the conflict of the opposition planets must be resolved and mastered before it is possible to gain positive and productive access to the energy of the triangle figure (Grand Trine, Yod, etc.).

In the case of the Grand Trine Kite, some astrologers feel that the ease and harmony of the Grand Trine can also be a resource available to help us deal with the conflict of the opposition, providing a positive outlook, natural ability and an unobstructed flow of energy.

I am interested in those of you who happen to have a grand trine kite(s) in your chart.

In what signs are your opposition?

What is your fourth/grounding planet and how does it influence you?

What is your arrow/lead planet and how does it influence you?

ToC, you have a grand trine fire with a grounding libra opposition aries.

now i'm confused because i thought it also depended on houses. your aries is actually your ascendant which mucks things up a bit.

i have the same opposition but i have three planets in aries that are almost at the exact same point....so i'm wondering if i'm supposed to focus on how the houses influence aries and how the grounding libra mucks that up with its indecisiveness and need for balance?

bueller?

I've got a grand trine with Mars in Taurus, Mercury in Virgo, and Neptune in Capricorn. I've also got Pluto in Scorpio forming a sextile with Mercury and Neptune which makes it a kite! That would make Mars the leading planet and Pluto the opposition. With Mars being the point of release in my tenth house, I can relate that to my natural drive in any activity that I see as rising in the ranks in life so to speak. Then again a couple of the same planets are also a part of the Mystic Rectangle and the Grand Cross that's also in my chart so it's hard to intuit how they all play a role in my life! :x

^see, he gets it. now say it in english!

but yeah, i feel you. i'm not sure which is the one i should look to in order to balance myself out a bit.

i read that a grand trine is good because it's fluid. you can shift between the signs without any stoppage. the kite/butt is the grounding point that says focus thataway. instead of hopping between the three points, one of them becomes the focal point.

given that for toc it's her ascendant, would that mean she would need to work on the image that she's presenting to the outside world?

gonna need a sec to look at mine...

damn dude!

ok, this is just f'ing creepy. i think i've figured it out.

The native's efforts at writing and self-expression take on a more serious tone and lay great stress on duty, technical matters and elaboration of instructions on organization and "how to" publications, health matters, job instruction manuals, and the techniques of writing.

^that's my kite with it's butt/spine in gemini. and on the level, that is exactly what i do for a living but am unable to focus on it due to other aspect of my business. writing is exactly how i started out.

Libra placed in the tenth house indicates entering a business or a profession with a partner, or any type of project in cooperation with others. The native is usually favored for some degree of success and recognition that relates directly back to the native's charm and personality. This distinction which the native earns may not last forever, but it assures him/her of above-average conditions surrounding his/her ambitions.

^that's my kite with it's butt/spine in libra. i struggle with my business because i have to do so much of it dolo. it's stressful and i've always wanted to have someone with equal passion to help. there are other aspects here but overall....

following my passion and utilizing it to make a living while recognizing that i can't do it all by myself is my struggle. it's the point of contention in my life right now. i'm totally blown away.

actually, it'd take too long and not sure you want it on here anyway so will just email you the links if you're unable to figure it out.

houses

1. i identified where my kite's butt/spine was. the 4th point in the kite. identify that sign. in one kite it's gem, in the other it's libra.

2. i then looked at my chart to determine which house this particular gem and libra placement fell in.

3. for my gem, it was the 6th house. for libra, it was the 10th/midheaven.

4. i then went to the website above, chose the house and then the sign...6th house-gem, 10 house-libra.

---

i think the whole point is that for me, my sag is basically telling my gemini to stfu and just do it. where my aries is telling my libra to stfu, make a decision and roll with it. i've been struggling with this lately and it's trippy how on-point this is for what's going on in my life right now.

no, not the ENTIRE time. i had to take a step back and let my brain rest. during that time i smoked a dub, had some tea and watched adult swim. i also used the rest room and i stubbed my toe upon which i realized that i needed to trim my toenails so i trimmed my toenails and then i washed my hands and went into the kitchen and raided my friends snack cabinet and stole 3 of his oreos and then i separated them and removed all that white gunk in the center and ate the wafers and after i did all that, in no particular order, i got back online and searched for "gemini in the 6th house" then i read up on gemini in the 6th house and i was like DUDE! no fuckin way so then that made me look up libra in the 10th house and i almost shit myself which made me think of what Meg-God said in the other thread about hating on tate but after i chuckled i came back here and i wrote the post about my enlightenment and then i was going to do it for your chart as well but given your response and how you're being a total BITCH i'm glad i decided to just post how i went about rather than to do one for EACH of your five libra placements but i went ahead and emailed you the details of it anyway because i'm kind like that but in the future i won't bother because you clearly don't deserve my time energy or effort so to answer you question, no, i wasn't doing this the entire time.
