Meek because of my birth chart?
Maybe because there arene't any fire signs. I don't have any either and I'm kind of like you. I've learned with age to me more assertive. There are a lot more educated people than myself. Hopefully, some of them will chime in.
Same here. I'm not assertive either, but I don't need to be - there's very little I want. I have no fire in personal planets - sun in air, moon + asc in earth and merc, ven, mars in water. I am also strong on the outside and will always be the last man standing in a physical fight - but I truly have no desire to fight anyone - I just can if I have to. The only fire in my chart is Neptune in Sag but I believe that's a generational thing.

I have only recently started dwelving deeper in astrology. Throughout my life, I have always struggled to put my foot down and be assertive and ask for what I want, mostly in relationships. Outside I am considered a sort of tough guy, however it always bugs me and pains me inside to be so. So my placements are:
