mercury retrograde and you

how did everyone’s mercury retrogrades go? tell your stories.

mine wasn’t too eventful this round. I had the typical ex lover pop in, and he was exceptionally clingy and reliant on my presence. it was awkward... I was slightly cold to him though i do care very much. he was expressing how he drinks himself to sleep every night because he’s so unhappy. it worried me but also put up more red flags. most of his upset comes from work. he has a venus and mars in cap, so his career is everything. I have been supportive but unresponsive romantically.

two days ago, a capricorn i’ve had a lowkey crush on for the LONGEST TIME finally admitted interest. he did so in a sexual way but honestly i’m fine with it because life is an adventure and you never know where it’ll lead. plus I know we’d be able to be friends afterwards so fuck it. he actually asked me if I liked him at the beginning of the year, and I said no that those were just rumors. so it’s nothing I didn’t bring upon myself LOL. he has a sag moon and venus, so it was hard to tell if he was actually interested anyways. we’ve always been friends.

other than that, nothing exciting at work happened to me. I remember one year, I had gotten a new internship during retrograde and they kept sending automatic emails from different people, so when I went in for orientation, I asked for the original guy I was working with. turns out he had quit two days prior and the girls at the front desk kept trying to call him. two hours go by and they call the other person who contacted me, and she comes down telling me “your orientation isn’t today.” and i’m like “but I got the email.” so she goes “well you’re late anyways, so you’ll have to come some other time.” at this point, I didn’t like her tone or accusation of me, so I said “i’ve been here for two hours now waiting for someone to come and get me. I also had to pay for parking to be here, so who’s going to pay for that?” needless to say, that was not a good retrograde for me LOL.

I think I fell into a relationship by accident.

Well lets see hmm,i saw my ex in a reunion and like OP he was so clingy i had to act cold,the next day he keeps calling saying im still inlove with you and we are not finish bla bla so i broke his heart for him to move on.i've offended my co-worker but its fine now as i explained what i really meant,last night i didnt think twice with the words that came out of my mouth so i hurt my gf feelings her eyes are puffy from crying,i saw my crush last night she was hot and cold again as always im done with her its tiring,so much drama this month*sigh* but something good came up on my business so i think im still breathing fine😄oh and my bestie have a lovelife now im their bridge✌she asked for my advice always but doesnt listen im like girl i already told you the boy your dating is flashy,arrogant and full of drama and they havent gone for a 1st date and she already invested too much and now complaining to me every couple of days about the boy,i just told her Goodluck because she need a lot of it😂

wow!!! yours was much more eventful than mine. i’m sure I too offended people. I tend to do that on accident even without the retrograde (lol).

and haha, so what have you realized relationship-wise? i know mercury retrograde typically helps a person realize if their relationship is “right.” but I also see you’re kind of done with your crush too. so do you think you’ll stay with your current girlfriend? or that you may just breakup for a bit?

actually my best friend wants to dump her current boyfriend. he’s a nice guy... but they’re just not compatible. I never fully liked him. I was wary of him I should say. he’s a gemini/scorpio moon/capricorn ascendant. she’s an aries/cap moon/sag ascendant. he’s not adventurous at all. she is.

i’m wondering if you had any similar epiphanies?

I haven’t had any epiphanies myself lol. i’m still rolling through life figuring it out as I go 😂 and my love life is a wreck, so we won’t even discuss it lol

Well it's kinda like when you help someone through a tough time. They can grow enamoured by how you're treating them.

I had made a point how I'd rather be alone then get in a relationship again. But I don't know if that got through to them or not.

i am so done with my ex i told him to let go and move on because im inlove with someone,i saw my crush the other day the company has an event and thankfully im not so obsess with her as i was last year but she can still make me go haywire we stare at each other for a couple of seconds i didnt take my eyes of her i felt the butterflies that i didnt feel on anyone before but someone butted in and our eye contact broke after that she didnt look in my eyes again even though im trying too its as if shes avoiding my eyes but i realize that i needed to let go of this feelings because its going nowhere(no reciprocation on her part)and i have to concentrate on my gf(i feel like im neglecting her as she question me often as if she doesnt trust my love anymore),its so overwhelming this month but i got to make decision that is the most important,i finally realize i have to let go of my feelings even though i regret that i didnt tell my crush how i feel while me and my gf broke up i already missed my chance,right now i think my relationship is right and i will stay with her because i love her and she is the right choice

There is so much realization this month and big changes that will take place next year.If your bff wants to dump her bf then let her do it,looks like she already made a decision,there are things you cant control but you can let go just like what i did with my crush,i know its not going to be easy but i have to start
