Scorpio Rising

i just found out my rising is scorpio not libra....honestly im a bit bummed 😱 What do you guys think of this placement? (I dont like it)

if you're a man it's fine if you like classic novels like cyranno de bergerac. if you're a woman nose job and laser hair removal. it's kind of a moot point anyway coz we all turn into matthew mconaughey at middle age.

Don't be too hard on yourself for your placements; take them for what they are and embrace yourself. I've been seeing some of your posts, and you're not being very kind to yourself. Self-hatred is never good, especially due to astrological placements. Be happy, Scorpio placements make for a very loyal and passionate personality. Still waters truly run deep with these people and their strength is admirable. Love what you have, sweetie.

I do. I've learned my lesson too. Once i shake off the one i have im never dating another cancer of ny sort.

I don't really like being one. I'm a 3rd decan (Cancer decan) Scorpio rising and I don't seem to have any sex appeal at all. Just confusion and emotions. 1st decan is probably sexier lol, I'm not 'fixed'.

What I do find cool is the transformation thing.

Oh and being so analytical is nice too, I see through people very easily when I feel stable myself.
But at the same time I feel like I'm a stranger everywhere.

I too suddenly got a "new" rising when I got my birth certificate and found out my real birth time - I was bummed too.

Now I think, what the heck, I'm still the same person, it's just annoying ajusting to your new chart(I got a new moon too and different houses) and the same goes for you. You didn't change - your chart did. You'll be just fine. 🙂

I only have one good scorpio rising friend and I really like her - low key, but the funniest girl on the planet. So congrats! 🙂

Pretty sure Gemini is their 8th house ruler.. Sag risings have Cancer for their 8th house.

Yeah I get you on the still the same person thing. While I like my rising and its my first choice it would be the one of my big 3 I would change if it was inevitable. Im going to get deep here but before I was born if I had the chance to know what are the effects of all the Sun signs and how do they manifest on Earth all things considered Im going with Taurus. Thats a no brainer for me personally. I think I may have weighed Gemini too thats why Im a cusper but I choose Taurus. I'd do it again. nothing but Taurus I am completely grateful for this. Moon signs and what are the effects I choose Aquarius. I read a book before I ever ran or saw my chart and it seemed to say my moon was Cap. Not that there is anything wrong with Cap moon but I had a strong feeling that was wrong and I was Aquarius moon before knowing my chart. Rising I choose Libra. All 3 are my first choice in their positions. As I am older I feel very fortunate astrologically and dont really know why my placements are what I would choose. Do we all get too? Was my karma that good? I dont want to mess it up in my life.
If there is one placement in my chart Im kind of shaky on its Cancer Saturn. It just seems to have weird effects having those opposites.

I'm not so sure you get to choose - all we can do is to take what we got and work with that. Thing is, before you were born, you were not a person with traits or experiances, so who would be the one who chose those placements? Not you, because you didn't get to be you until you were born with your traits.

I'm happy with my placements too, though I don't think I got to pick them or that they were picked for me - I think they were just randomly assigned to whatever I was before I was born. Sure, some traits are more difficult than other, but how boring wouldn't it have been if everything was just plain sailing.
