Well, like you Virgogotme, she does it for a hobby and not profit.
I have no hesitation in telling you briefly what the general jist was!!
I was asking her about my non-existant love life (at the time)

Apparently im gonna meet someone wonderful, but there is a shadow (she said someone from my past)
who is intent on destroying it, this person is strong, and will use every means possible to do that.
But the path was full of "Bridges" which she said are "Decisions" which if made wrongly will give this
"Shadow Person" more power.
I dont know the ins and outs of it all, but she looked scared herself, as if she didnt want to tell me any
of this, which is what made me suspect, is there more that she isnt saying !!
She didnt give me a time frame.

I must admit, its now always at the back of my mind, because i recently DID meet someone who is wonderful
and theres an extremely high chance of happiness with this person.
There is one "Person" from my past that i had a messy time with, and i did hear recently thru mutual friends that
this persons long-term relationship is dissolving !!

Im now very aware

I read tarot just for myself, and do my own readings, though not often. I find the insight alone to be very helpful and even amazing, on both a personal and universal basis. I like to stick to the more simpler spreads - 3 or 5 card.

I also collect tarot decks for their beauty and artwork, including the *Wolf Pack* Tarot which is unique in that it has NO Major Arcana. I also like the mystique and sacred symbolism of the Egyption Tarot. I've also found the Rune Stones & I-ching, which i've studied to also be amazingly accurate and a nice compliment to the Tarot. I see the cards as a voice of guidance and self-reflection of past, present, future impressions; hopes, desires or challenges and the work needed to attain a certain or possible outcome. Perhaps it is better to study, be your own guide and do your own self-readings, where you might feel more in control and understand a situation much more. Kind of like interpreting a very personal dream; who can you trust and understand, more than yourself?

I read tarot. I read for myself, for friends, for co-workers and I've even read for people here on the site who've asked me for help. The thing about tarot is anyone can "learn" how to read the cards, i.e. what each card "means", but in order to really understand what they're saying you have to have some psychic ability. I am clairvoyant, clairsentient, and an empath and the readings I've done have all been incredibly accurate. Just a couple examples I read for a co-worker that her husband was on the right track with cooking school and if he stuck with it he would do well, but that he was thinking about leaving school and it would strain their marriage. Sure enough about a month later he told her he didn't want to go to school anymore and he quit and their marriage has been "troubled" to say the least since. I read for another co-worker and told her that her capricorn boyfriend [whom I'd never met and didn't know his sign until I did the reading] was cheating on her with an aries, and she knew exactly who the girl was and found out he was cheating with her; in the same reading I told her not to worry because she was going to meet an air sign man soon, and about two weeks after she ended it with the cap she met an aqua, he followed her a while before getting up the nerve to talk to her. I also read for another friend and told her when she was on vacation [from NY] in Miami she would run into her ex [also from NY] and he would try to hook up with her and he would hurt her - which she insisted was impossible. She admitted he was probably going to go down to the same event she was because it was some kind of industry thing but even if they saw each other he'd never speak to her - he'd been avoiding her for over a year because he owed her a lot money - but sure enough they ended up at the same party and he made repeated attempts to get her attention until he finally gave up and just went right up to her and chatted her up....end of story she got hurt and called me crying in the middle of the night. Another time she asked about a date she was going on I told her it wouldn't work and asked if he was an air sign - she told me it was the same libra she already dated and was no good for her. Moon Eyes and lostsoul07 can also tell you my readings are accurate, though I won't discuss theirs.

Of course, I'd be happy to do a reading for you Tasha. Just PM me with what you would like to know about.

As for psychics looking for visual cues form your body language. Have you ever watched Law & Order? [one of my favorites 🙂 ] They use a character that is supposed to be an FBI forensic psychologist and he talks about a system they teach you in FBI training to look for visual cues, sort of like tells in poker. As I said, anyone can learn the meanings of tarot cards, but that doesn't mean they can really get a sense of what's going on. There are certainly fraud's who would do exactly what you're describing. Most of the readings I do are for people I've never met except on-line. The ones I do for people at work, well personally I get very drawn into what I'm doing and barely even look the person I'm reading for. But don't let a few fakes leave you with a bad impression of all psychics. I use a specific service when I need someone else to read for me [reading for yourself can be tricky because you're so close to the situation] and when I find someone I connect with and they leave I go through several readers looking for another that I connect with. The connection is very important because even a very good reader can give you a bad reading if you don't connect. I've had readers tell me exactly what I wanted to hear but still tried someone else because I just didn't feel connected. I've also read with people who basically asked me about a situation and repeated back what I told them. Not everyone is a fraud so you just have to find someone you believe in.
